What the heck? Did they see the video?

@RavensInsider: Darnell Dockett cut with a failed physical designation

He tore his ACL last year.

More Info: According to Cleveland beat writer Mary Kay Cabot, Josh McCown was willing to accept a backup/mentor role while Hoyer wasn't.

I know Hoyer isn't that great but the Browns, being the Browns low balling him. As I said I think Hoyer goes to Buffalo as the starter and proves Cleveland wrong. Then when Manziel sucks, they will be wishing for Hoyer back.

I'm surprised that out of all the Dolphins receivers, Hartline and Gibson are the ones released, not Mike Wallace.

And that's why teams like that are envious of Bisciotti in January.

Oh it's coming! He reportedly doesnt want to take a pay cut and if they cant trade his number away, he will be cut for sure. Ellerbee might be getting the axe as well.

Are the Dolphins trying to compete with the Chiefs on how long they can go without a WR catching a TD? I'm pretty sure Miami will have none left after they cut Wallace, unless they are going to throw money at Dez Bryant.

Cardinals release DL Darnell Dockett.

Dolphins release WR Brandon Gibson.

Turns 34 in May, coming off a torn ACL and failed a physical. He may end up re-signing with the Cardinals for cheap. Not many teams will throw money at him.

Same story, different day in Cleveland. Hoyer is probably going to start again next year and McCown gets cut. McCown didn't even do well with two premiere WR in Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans

McCown gets $15 million over 3 years.

I didn't think the Browns signing McCown was a bad move, but that price…  Ouch.

Doing more than well for himself.

For sure.  I'd gladly become a backup QB that can have a few good games and cash in.

Admittedly, the Browns are probably one of the few teams that can afford to pay him that price with how much cap space they have.

To his "defense," their O-line was trash.

I've always said being a backup QB is a great job.  The fans always love you (Tyrod!), you don't do much, and even the vet minimum salary is still way more than most people make.

Glennon outplayed him with the same O-line and was fine but yes, their O-line was trash

Just saw that Josh McCown signed with Cleveland. I would feel bad for "Johnny Clipboard" but I just can't. On that note the best move the Browns made was to Baltimore. They just should have let it go. Just sayin"!    :ravensquote:

3 years 15 million? Talk about overpaid.

Just saw this on Schefter's FB:

Josh McCown deal with Browns:

3 years/$14M with upsides to $20M. $6.25M is Fully Guaranteed. Year 1 is $5.25M Fully Guaranteed.

Now we're talking desperation by the Browns.
