Well I believe that Cleveland regime that drafted him is no longer there so they got fired. Ryan Grigson got lucky to walk right into drafting a franchise QB like Luck so the media will give him a free pass even though his drafts haven't really been any good at putting a team around Luck. For example, see their defense.

Yeah. Other than getting Luck and Hilton pretty much none of his moves is FA and draft have been good.

Darnell Docket cut by Niners, Louis Nix by Texans.

Wow wasn't Nix very coveted not too long ago

yeah i was thinking the same thing i remember hearing about him a ton in the pre draft process...i think hes been dealing with a lot of injuries if im not mistaken? lot of potential there and theoretically i wouldnt mind to see the ravens pick him up but i feel that would be an unneeded luxury at this point with more pressing needs elsewhere on the team and very precious few roster spots

*edit- yeah looks like he missed all of last year after having his 3rd knee surgery

There's a rumour going around that Chip Kelly had an offer of 4th round pick for Barkley few months ago which he refused.

Reggie Wayne asked for his release from the Patriots and they granted him that request. Expectation is that Wayne will now retire according to Adam Schefter. Guess this means he'll sign a one day contract with the Colts to retire a Colt.

I'm surprised that even still, nobody has brought Ray Rice in for a work out

Aaron Wilson reported that there have been coaching staffs that have been interested in bringing him in, but ownership has been reluctant to allow that.

Understood. I think he will be in an NFL uniform this year. He could be lethal in Green Bay or backing up AP in Minn.

Seahawks are discussing trading Kam Chancellor to the Giants.

 

Oh wow, that would be huge for them and a big upgrade to their secondary. Giants are going to have pay him right because he's holding out for more money. Wonder if they get a first round pick for him.

I don't see how can they get 1st rounder for Chancellor. They can't pay him and have very little leverage.

lol.......... Not sure why you are getting neg bombed, guess you can't mention RR around here. When he finally lands somewhere he should be a beast, as long as he can handle the heat he will be getting.

Jeff Fisher & Les Snead, the two that can not manage a NFL team correctly. Especially one like St. Louis that was already good but like the 49ers, needed the right coaching staff in place. Here's another one of those mistakes they have made cutting a player who they drafted in the fifth round of the Supplemental Draft, Isaiah Battle. They spent a fifth round pick in the 2016 Draft on him, and now end up cutting him.

I'm only on here on mobile so I don't see negs. Most of the people that negged me are probably those folks that ride their high horses and judge people but would ask for forgiveness if they did something wrong. Either that or they don't know football.

he is signed through the 2017 season lol.

 

they have all the leverage.

 

doubt he is going to sit out for 3 seasons and taking fines while doing so.

 

they also dont have to pay him for any game he misses.

 

he also has no guaranteed money left after this season.

 

he also cost only around 6 mil in cap space.

 

he actually has very little leverage and it comes down to how strong the Hawks FO will be.
