2015 NFL Off Season & Free Agency (Other Teams)

Yeah, sadly they'll be fine for the foreseeable future and they have about the same chance of imploding like the 49ers in one offseason as we do (that is, pretty much zero but whoever's closer to zero depends on who you ask). But hey, dreams are free.

Wrong, Dreams are $15.77 plus shipping and handling(which for out of country is very pricey)...

But yeah. When people said Ozzie needed to be fired I rolled my eyes. At the end of the day he understands how to run a team.

Like I've said. You need three things to have a super bowl caliber team.

1. A franchise QB.

2. Good trenches(offensive and defensive lines).

3. An identity.

The pats got

1. Brady

2. Great front 7 and servicable oline.

3. Lots of short passing on offense with strong defensive play.

They can do it again sadly.

We got.

1. Flacco

2. Elite front 7 and great oline.

3. Run heavy, lots of play action, and we will punch you in the mouth defensivley.

The niners got

1. Kaepernick(LOL.. He sucks)

2. A front 7 and oline both riddled by departures and injuries.

3. Umm.... Nothing.

It's got a lot to do with management. They're screwed.

Hard to suck when you're better than Montana. :P

But yeah, everything starts up front and that's where it seemed to fall apart for them last season.

Smh, yeah. With the majority of that front 7 leaving the niners are screwed.

Last year it seemed to start with the OL regressing/disintegrating, and now it seems the front seven will follow suit. Get your popcorn out for this one.

Can't protect the inside, we had quite a bit of progress there when we played. Brady just gets the ball out quickly, just the way that offense works. The only team they consistently run on is the Colts, then everyone gets hyped about their rushing attack and they don't run against anyone else really. Denver handled them fine in 2013, Seattle in the Super Bowl for the most part. Any decent front handles their running game just fine, the way they win is the quick passing game to Edelman and Gronk who just is a walking mismatch.

I was going to post almost The same thing. It's a missconception that their Oline is good. It's pretty below average but they mask it with scheme and game plans. As you said they only run the ball against bad defensive fronts.

As an illustration, including the playoffs their only offensive lineman with a positive grade from pff was volmer.

I really like that Boykin trade for Pittsburgh. We paid a fourth and fifth for Eugene Monroe, so a fifth (or more likely fourth) for a very good slot CB in this division is worth it.

It was an excellent trade for Pittsburgh, they need secondary help bad and Boykin is solid.

That team is so deep at CB, can they just give us Corey Graham back?

Yes. Please.

They moved him to safety because of that

If Rex has a solid secondary and has the luxury of moving Graham to safety which is news to me btw Tom Br*dy is gonna be having nightmares.

Maybe if we ask nicely. Or warm their hearts with a nice musical number.

JaCorey Shepherd may have torn his ACL.  Philly traded Boykin because they had Shepherd.  Example 1 of why you don't trade away depth at such an important position.

It was a dumb trade to begin with. Safe to say they deserve it to happen.

To clarify, I don't mean that the young man deserved to get injuried. You never want to see that. Their organization though deserves the repercussions.

I'm kinda rooting for the Eagles to get it done, but it's getting harder to see things pan out for them this year between the reports of tension between Chip Kelly and the players, and now this.

Crazy how things work out like that. Trade a guy because you have depth and then someone at that position gets a season ending injury and you lose depth.

Greg Hardy paid to have this flown over the Eagles training camp today.

The idea was novel when the Jets fans did it to the Patriots, but it isn't as good the second time.

Wow, I can't tell if this is Rex having a "stopped clock is right twice a day" moment or if he's still making poor personnel decisions as a head coach.
