Awfully expensive for a 30+ year old RB, but good for Frank if true...

Rand Getlin@Rand_Getlin 2m2 minutes ago

Source indicates the #49ers are bracing to lose Frank Gore. Has an offer on the table from the #Eagles averaging $5M+, $7M in guarantees.

If this is true forget what I said about liking the Eagles moves. This would make no sense.

Man - seeing what some of the new contracts are looking like ... anyone that thought we'd be playing in the deep end of the FA pool perhaps now has their eyes opened. It is pretty clear we will not even be operating in the middle tier. It is bottom feeder FA for us.

Given the players we seem likely to lose, we'll need to pull off several hidden gems moves and hit a home run in the draft in order to maintain our position at or near the top of the AFC ... which of course seems like is the case every year.

I stopped worrying about that. Every year it seems teams make big splashes in FA and we do what we do - stay low key, draft well and keep being contender. We'll be fine.

It seems like we have a small chance of resigning Jimmy Smith next year

Need to start hammering out an extension for him ASAP before he has the chance to test the market.

Take a QB off the market. Mark Sanchez is staying in Philadelphia on a two year $16M deal with $5.5M guaranteed.

Take it for what it's worth but Maclin is reportedly also re-signing with the Eagles on a four year deal.

Looks like we're stuck with Joe Flacco.

Guessing Torrey is heading to 9ers aka Ravens West

Seems like the 9ers are to us what we are to the Texans, but not as good at it.

Titans re-sign P Brett Kern to a 5-year deal worth $15 million.

The Titans making sure their Special Teams stay in place. They have re-signed LS Beau Brinkley to a five year contract worth $5.75M.

Bet Brady has just said every cuss word he knows (and may have invented a few new ones).

Just going to leave this here....

5 years, $47.5 million

Wow, was not expecting that. Have to wonder about Revis' future now. If they keep both, they will have to be a shoe in for repeating.

Kaep on the trading block is definitely a bombshell.

I'm hearing the Eagles and Bears are interested.

And on that bombshell it's time to end, goodnight!!!

I can't be the only one thinking it lol

Could be a really interesting fit with Chip although they did just bring back the Sanchize

Sanchez is just a backup though, and why trade a boatload of picks for Kaep-lite when you can get the real deal?

Kaep must've really angered someone in the Niners org though, considering a trade would cost them $10 million in dead money.

BREAKING NEWS: 49ers have put Colin Kaepernick on the trading block. Taking offers.

Yeah that is an interesting one

Can't find any legit NFL media guy that is reporting that. I checked PFT, Rotoworld and even NFL.com.

Though, it's understandable considering the contract he was given let's them basically get out of it every year of the deal.

PFT rarely posts articles at this time. I'm skeptical, but wouldn't be completely surprised. Baalke will likely want "his guys." Kaep is a Harbaugh guy.

From 49ers GM:

@MaioccoCSN: GM Trent Baalke strongly denies the 49ers are shopping Colin Kaepernick.

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
Reached out to several QB-needy teams. Have yet to hear from one who has had talks with 49ers about Kaepernick for those asking

So this means they are shopping him lol. Every time they deny, it means the opposite lol. Plus La Canfora is full of it lol.

You know the rule: never believe something until it's been officially denied.
