Guessing Mark Sanchez is talking about returning to Philly to back up Chip's QB Mariota. Going to be interesting if Sanchez does return and if Foles gets traded.

Well there goes one possible CB before Tuesday. Texans reach agreement with Kareem Jackson. They also reached a deal with RT Derek Newton.

Texans taking care of their own.

Looks like the new Dolphins GM is clearing out the bad contracts given by Jeff Ireland. Dolphins cutting LBs Phillip Wheeler and Dan Ellerbe.

I'm surprised he cut Wheeler, since that only saves something like $200,000.

Should be more - he is post June 1 designated cut.

That's a bit better, though the savings still aren't amazing if I'm not mistaken.

Quite a bit actually, $3 mil cap savings with $1.4 mil remaining as dead money.

Ah yeah, I thought it was closer to $2 million for some reason. Which in itself wouldn't have been terrible, but their LB group on the whole is pretty dire so I was a bit surprised at first to see him go.

Saints re-sign RB Mark Ingram to a four-year deal.

He was a totally different player in his contract year which would give me worry if I was the GM. He might just revert to underachieving Ingram after he gets his money.

It is a 4-year deal worth $16 million for Ingram from the Saints.

That actually is what I thought we would end up giving Forsett.

I'm surprised by this signing. The RB class is deep and Ingram is easily replaceable for the Saints. They are picking high enough to take Gurley or Gordon, so this move baffles me.

Gurley is the only back worth that high a pick and even then the Saints have pressing needs at other positions. What is surprising is that a team that usually operated in an RBBC paid an RB at all.

Titans re-sign P Brett Kern to a 5-year deal worth $15 million.

A punter being payed a total of 15 million!? Really?

He is one of the best punters in the league and his average of $3 million per season makes him only the 8th highest paid punter.  The total value of $15 million is 7th highest.  It isn't a bad contract.

Cobb gets $17 million guaranteed.  Similar contract to Jordy Nelson who got 4 years for $39 million with $11.5 million guaranteed.  Effect of Rodgers throwing has to have an effect.

If I was lucky enough to have Rodgers throwing the ball to me, I don't think I'd leave either.

Exactly, very smart man. The other offers he had probably didn't have the QBs like Rodgers has. He knows he can be on a playoff team every year with Green Bay.

Randall Cobb will also only be 25 at the start of the season, so if he keeps it up, he can find himself pulling in another relatively big contract at age 29.

Cowboys reach deal with RT Doug Free on a three year $15M deal. Free was scheduled to be a free agent on Tuesday. So Dallas keeping their o-line in tact.

Big Free agent deal for the Cowboys, that line was huge for them last year

He is pretty good too. I still like Olsen more for some reason. Speed maybe.

I don't know, I'd take a healthy Gronk over anyone else at TE. I do like Olsen but I think Gronk is the biggest mismatch in the NFL right now.
