Although Free Agency doesn't start till March , Franchise tags come in Feb and other issues.

Thought I would start this by posting that its being reported that Ole fetus neck manning will be returning for another season with the broncos.

Can't wait to see what Denver does with their Thomas's........mostly for fantasy purposes...

I think they keep Julius over Demaryius. Finding a top 5 TE is harder than finding a top 7ish WR. Also accounting for Kubiak and his history with TE's.... Still should be a very tough decision if that's what they're forced to do. If they choose D over Julius, I see Julius ending up in Atlanta or Seattle.

I expect GB to lock up Cobb & Buluga. Cowboys, Dez & Rolando...

I think they're forced to let Murray walk.....Could see him in a Colts uniform for some reason. Maybe San Diego.

I think Suh tests the market but ends up staying in Detriot over Oakland.

JPP stays with NYG. Houston gets franchised, if not signs with a team in Texas. Revis reunites with Rex in Buffalo. Pats resign McCourty. Forsett to Jax. Torrey to Philly. McPhee to GB. Gore to Houston. Welker retires, if not N.O., Ravens sign Charles Tillman.....

That's all the predictions I got. Will probably get them all wrong lol

I think Suh ends up as a Jet, he has expressed wanting to play in NY and the Jets have nearly 40 million in cap space.

Murray does not re-sign with Dallas

Dez gets franchised

Cobb is re-signed with GB

Demaryius Thomas is franchised

Julius Thomas signs with Atlanta

Revis and McCourty stay in NE

Torrey lands in Kansas City

Houston gets Franchised (Tamba Hali gets cut, Chase Daniel Cut,Eric Berry cut, amongst others)

Forsett to Tennessee or Buffalo

McPhee to Pittsburgh

Gore stays with SF

Welker signs with SD

Ew, ew, ew, ew!!!

It took multiple re-types to spell pittsburgh right, but I think they are desperate for pass rushers and Harrison will retire , Worilds will be gone, and jarvis jones looks terrible.

Do they have the cap to fit him?

There's no way the Steelers would spend that kind of money for McPhee.  They're like us in the fact that they're not big spenders on FAs.  Besides, I doubt McPhee would want to join the steelers of all teams.  Not gonna happen.

These guys aren't loyal. They didn't grow up in Baltimore, they chase the money and IF the money were to be in PITT, he would have no problem going. See Kruger, Paul.

Depends on the player's relationship with the team trying to sign them.  Can you ever see Suggs wanting to be a Patriot?

The steelers are currently over the cap by about 3 million (for 54 players) but I think they sign the bathroom bandit to a long term deal and drop his cap number substantially, Curly hair queen polumalu retires (3.5 million savings) , Cam Thomas (2 million savings), Heath Miller gone (2.3 million savings), cameron heyward signed to long term deal (thus getting about 3-4 million in cap space)

So between polumalu, miller, thomas, and heyward they save about 11 million putting them about 8 million under cap and then reworking bens deal probably gives them another 5-8 million. I also saw how they spent 10 million to franchise Worilds, why wouldn't they spend lets say 4-5 million per year on mcphee and structure it in a way that his cap hit is extremely low, ala dumervil with Baltimore.

Not to mention , at the end of the day these guys are playing for their next big $$ deal, they rarely if ever care who its coming from, and Pittsburgh probably won't be able to throw the most money at mcphee but who knows.

Didn't know where to put this, but Mike McCarthy's younger brother died at the age of 47.  That news alone should shut the mouths of a lot of Packers fans that we're tearing him a new one.  Forget the game and show some support for your coach who already was in a depressing state to begin with.

Yeah I can, if they threw the most money at him.

That's not going to be enough, he will get that much from Ravens.

Arthur Jones (who be all accounts is a much better player) signed for 5 years and $33 million, which is an average of $6.6 a year. I don't think Mcphee will make that more than about $5 a year.

$5 would be insanely cap-friendly. I'm not even sure the CBA would allow it.

Pass rushers come at a premium.

If he is getting paid like that, then I wouldn't mind the Ravens going after him.

Amen. R.I.P. to his younger brother.

Titans S Bernard Pollard has requested his release from the team. He informed GM Ruston Weber of this at the end of the season. Citing his willingness to win and that he isn't getting any younger. Pollard also took to Twitter to question the team's decision to part ways with VP of Personnel Lake Dawson.

"I am not getting any younger, so I want to win, I really do. I want to win,'' Pollard said of his future earlier this month. "Looking at how things took place this year, looking at where (the Titans) need to be for next year, that is a tough, tough question, and I don't even know if they can give me the answer. I have one year on my deal, but it is going to take some time."

The Seahawks have offered Marshawn Lynch a HUGE contract extension that would make him one of, if not the highest paid RB in the league. This new deal according to Ian Rapport would pay him $10M next season.

Man, I remember when they said they were getting tired of him. My oh my, things have changed.

They have plenty of room, spotrac has their estimated available cap space at $26M.
