Would you trade an Orioles World Series title this yr!...for a 10yr Ravens playoff drought?

Granted the fan bases are not one and the same. But both teams are still pretty regional.

Ravens are b-mores sports presence on a national level! And without a third team basketball or hockey b-more would not be talked about unless the Ravens are a playoff team.

It's a tough decision because an Orioles World Series is only a local accomplishment and not first take, his and hers, sports nation, and twitter material! Ravens winning gives us national respect.

Hmm let's see here.  One on side you have a FO that's polished, professional, and works hard to be perennial winners each year.  On the other side you have an owner that's cheap and.... Yeah....  Ravens all the way.  Not even close

some people are fans of Baltimore and a world series title would mean a lot to the people. 

 

I see it as which team is more important to b-more and I think the orioles have a very special place...and we would rather lose the Ravens than the Orioles any day of the week. Orioles are the foundation in my mind.

For me, I would consider as We are averaging a super bowl almost every 10 years (of existence)  and the Orioles were my first team....

 

Tough though. If you threw in the Caps winning the Stanley and the O's winning the World Series in same year, I would definitely take it.

I had to make it 10years because Ravens puts b-more in the media. But the orioles are the longtime home team that is the heart. I feel the answer depends on the location and age. some people are a fan of the Ravens...some people are a fan of b-more and any win is a good win....just sayin.

Baseballs' OK if you are home, have a few beers and wake up only when excitement occurs.  For  me,I would poke somebody in the eye with a straw if they made me Watch Golf.  Thats a sport you have to participate .  Even the announcers are too quien
