One of my complaints from playing last year was the speed of the game. I understand ppl live in different time zones, but we can still shorten the time they r allowed to pick?

Check the rule thread.  All draft picks are 12 hour time limits right now.

It was discussed, but we have already decided on Spotrac because we're familiar with it and the layout is user friendly.

100% agree.

totally agree spotrac is great, user friendly, I use it reguarly. I just found the cap room projection on over the cap which I did not on spotrac. Therefor I decided to share it

So after the draft will we have an official discussion thread to move to?

Once everyone has a team yes.  Until everyone has a team, we will stay here.

***PLEASE READ***

There are to be no posts about potential moves from a team––no naming players or needs AT ALL––until every body has a team and the actual discussion thread has been posted.  This is done to allow fairness to the people later in the selection process.

Can one one give me a heads up on the three worst teams so I can start looking into them?

Be prepared for the Saints and that hell hole of negative cap space.

Saints, Cardinals, Steelers, Cowboys and Chiefs all have bad cap situations off the top of my head.

Actually the Cowboys aren't that bad off, especially compared to last year where they were a total mess for this game.

so how do we take the 2014 salary cap carry over into account? because that is not given on spotrac

It's the current 2014 cap space just like it was last year.

I don't want to hold things up, but I'm really looking for some offers to trade back in the draft from the 8th pick.  If you're looking for a certain player, hit me up and let's get a conditional deal in place.

So the Ravens - for example - would have 6,5 cap space (381,482$ + 6,341,140$ carryover) and then we add 4,5 stars because we start with 143 stars and not 138.5. Would that be right?

Same way we did it last year might be easier.

Total Base Salaries + Signing Bonuses + Other Bonuses - Cap Carryover = Total Amount Spent on the Cap (rounded to nearest star value)

143 Stars - Total Amount Spent on Cap = Cap Space

thats the top 51 salaries correct?

I would just subtract the individual values from the 143 and then factor in the carryover to be safe. That's how I actually checked them last year.

how do you post a picture/GIF that everyone can see?

Image needs to be hosted somewhere on the Internet. Then in the post, insert image and paste the full image URL in the popup box.
