I don't mean to pry, but I am to assume that you currently don't know whether you will have the time? If so, when will you know for sure?

When the times are posted

Pretty much for me it's weekdays 3:30pm or later is best.

Weekends anything past 12pm is good.

I don't think the game takes that much commitment. I personally don't know how much time I will put into this outside of scouting team needs and potential trades, but overall I don't expect to make drastic changes to any team I inherit this year. I personally think that's a recipe for disaster. I think as long as you check the page once a day and have some semblance of an idea of what you want to do with the team you'll be more than fine. 

 

I'd advise anyone playing to just try to keep the talent they have and make necessary changes although not drastic ones. I think the teams who made the most changes turned out to be some of the worst, although I did have a pretty nice Titans team when it was all said and done.

Unless you had the Jaguars last year like me.  Then drastic changes are necessary changes.

Depends what team you get. If you get a team that needs blown up and rebuilt, it'll take a lot of time. It took me a long time last year with the Browns.

You should be good then. Free agency ends at 7pm on weeknights. The draft is the biggest area where we'd need you to check in often. Sometimes it goes very slow, but other times, we get on a roll and there's no telling how quickly you'll be back on the clock.

Yeah once we get these last 4 people signed up, we'll start picking teams.  After that, we should have a week or so to assess your team, get all of your cap plans under control, and then trades will be open.  After that, free agency hits and it's consistent action from there.
