I was going to take them but they just had way too many FAs and I didn't want to deal with trying to get so many guys back.

Yeah, I were surprised they fell this far. There were two other teams that were up in the air for me but ultimately decided to go with Carolina. I love the pieces they have there.

So, the cap may be a bit difficult to figure out this year.  For teams that have more than 51 players on current contracts, it adds up all of those salaries instead just the top 51, which is what we're using as our baseline.  Beware of that when calculating your cap.  If your team currently has more than 51 players on the roster, you might need to make adjustments.

That or, in an easier way (even though it may sound more complicated), subtract the salaries of players 52+ from the total active contracts number Spotrac gives you.

Are there any or what if your team shows less than 51 players with cap hit (in the column)...do we just fill those spots with FA? As from what I see with the Cowboys on Spotrac there is only 40..but a bunch of guys after with no cap hit numbers..

Because you're under 51 players, those guys will end up adding salary once the figures get updated.  When will that be?  No idea.  I wouldn't stress is too much though.  They are all probably 0.5 star players and if you cut them before updates, it would just be presented as 0 cap savings for you since they aren't included in the first place.

On the depth charts, people need to make sure the players are actually still on your team's roster. I am seeing a lot of guys on people's rosters that should be free agents.
