Just read about it on PFT, finally some sense is being made in this case. "Routinely destroys his phone", yeah everyone does that so it's so common....finally someone questioned destroying the phone. Wonder if Brady, and the Patriots will be asked about why they let the two equipment managers after everything started coming out about their involvement.

Yeah, no matter the outcome it's refreshing to hear Federal magistrates state the obvious that everyone outside of NE and the pats loving media has known from the beginning, that brady was out and out lying. That alone is a form of justice being served, although I'm sure the denials will continue.

This is still a story?

Unfortunately yes. I guess I can't blame the NFL for continuing to fight, considering they can't lose much more out of this.

They've already been completely destroyed in the media and by the public for this, so might as well go down with the ship and try to plead your case one more time.

When the media grows tired of a scandal and doesn't understand why we are still talking about it, that's when you for certain know the issue should have died long ago.

Now shameless, sleazy Kraft is advocating to Roger Goodell through a personal letter that NE be given back their 1st round pick!! Why then don't you give back a few Lombardi trophies Kraft??

He's about the 1,000th person driving that bus. Already had practically the entire media advocating for this for a few months now.

Hopefully it will all be over soon.

NFL should take their 2nd as well for Kraft having the nerve to make that request.  lol

I was JUST about this. Per the ESPN article,

"The seven fans include a season ticket holder from Connecticut who said the scandal has left his 7-year-old daughter disillusioned and a Florida man who said the NFL's sanctions have caused him stress and lost sleep."

I seriously cannot stop laughing.

I'm wondering how somebody has the money to afford the legal fees associated with a case like this that has no shot at every making it to court.

Gotta be pro-bono work, or one of the fans themselves is a lawyer.

That's what bothers me the most. There clearly was a consequence for what they did (lost draft selection - 1st round at that) but nobody from the organization got singled out. Organization didn't instruct ball boys on required air pressure, we all know who did.

Karma will haunt him until the end of his career. Not going to see the Super Bowl ever again.

How come the owner, the coach are still in the in the NFL,its the third time they been cought,, they still keep the trophie, it pays to cheat, huh?

1. How exactly do you remove an owner of an NFL team from the NFL? Or a better question... what exactly has Kraft's role been in any of these events?

2. When was the the third time?

3. What involvement did Belichick have in this whatsoever?

4. Implies that they were actually caught doing something wrong this time, since there's still a gigantic amount of question marks surrounding that.

What was this all about again?

On a serious note, the Browns will probably get destroyed on an historic scale Week 5 when he returns.

Is that it, then? No other recourse?

Who knows. I suppose they could just appeal again, but I doubt it.

Brady already slashed his salary to $1M for the season, so he's only losing $250K (down from $2M he would have lost last year).

I wonder how the NFL feels about now about their big time Sunday night game they scheduled for week 1... where the Cardinals will play Jimmy Garapolo, or that Thursday night game in week 3 against the Texans.

I wonder if that was worth $250K to a charity plus legal fees? All to protect the rights of a Commissioner who has already said he's negotiating to give up those rights as we speak.

YES!!!  Justice prevails.....

I hope this is a joke...

We have a really messed up concept of justice if anybody thinks this whole process is anything about justice or deflating footballs.

You're not letting up, are you?

It wasn't about Goodell, it was about cheating football club breaking rules again and destroying evidence when they got caught.

Not sure if I want to listen to more Pats fans complain or just ignore them at this point

Should we have another countdown for a Pat's fan to reply?

No, the trolls will appear soon enough.  Please don't respond to them.  Let the mods take out the trash.  Thanks.
