Steelers week wasn't this bad because we both knew the game would be a good, close one. For Miami, I'll almost guarantee you, that it will be a blowout either way. Phin fans are cocky, but nothing to show for it. We canbe cocky because our Safety has more TDs than any of your recievers, we haven't let a 100 yard rushed for over thirty games, we can be cocky because our passing game and running game has been on fire. If Flacci doubled his first half performance, he would have over 500 yards passing. That's why we can be cocky.

But hey, I'm not being cocky, just telling it like it is. :)

No, because I have liked a team since 96 that has won games and a SB while not even scoring a TD for 5 games. So....It's a FACT you need to score more points to carry your defense. While our D is plenty good enough to hold you guys at 10 or below, our Special Teams has been suspect a few times this year. So, points are your objective? Maybe The Saints are the Team for you.... Please, just face the facts that our D could shut down your Offense easier then your D shutting down ours...... Case in point? PPG PAPG. Shocking huh?

Why are you so cocky?!?!? I just wanna know? You had possibly the easiest schedule, and played teams when they were doing bad. Face it, your team is nothing short of great.

Uhhh actualy we held 7 teams to 10 points or less. If you wanna go a little further we held 11 teams to 13 or less (including yours)

I'll agree with RB 23 I can easily see them scoring more then 10 points and to guarantee that is ridiculous. We make too many mistakes that result in points. They're are few here that think that.

Most of us will agree that the new and improved wildcat, an pro bowl nt or anything less then a epic fail on our part is going to result in anything other then Ravens at Titans in about a week. Stop trying to change our minds on that.

What we will see differently is a more experienced group of players.... dont forget most of them are rookies or just start of their NFL career.

I know we most likely wont be seeing as much wild cat because we destroyed it last time.

Very interesting thread... I have spent the time to read it all only to find that there were many mis-conceptions in the posts within this thread... These mis-conceptions are found on both sides of the argument... I JUST couldn't stand it any longer!!!

So I registered just to offer my opinion... I know opinions are like... Well we know the ending to that line... However, I would like to offer my own 2 cents if I may...

While the RAVENS have arguably the 2nd best defense in the league, those being in rushing and total yardage, I will offer the idea that neither Ronnie or Ricky have been leaned upon to pound the ball all season. Combined, they have a respectable 1675 rushing yards for the year. While they have both been played on the conservative side, I do expect to see them both get the rock plenty on Sunday. The RAVENS may stop one of them regularly, but not both...

In addition to that running duo, we have a FULLBACK of our own by the name of Polite... While the stats will say he is ranked 30th in the league as a rusher, he has a 3rd down and short yardage, to first and 10, that has been incredable of late! He has converted 11 of 12 in his past attempts... Averaging 4.0 yards on those carries... So we do have a beast in the middle for ya! I believe that the DOLPHINS win the ground battle only because they have the better rested players and this game WILL become a major grind on the ground!

The key to this game is going to be pass defense... The team with the best pass defense will win this game. I believe that the DOLPHINS have the better of the 2 teams. We also have a very savy vet at the position and I believe that your QB will finally get rattled in this game.

I don't see a blow out by either side but I do see us taking a final drive of 12 - 15 plays, and running the clock for 7 - 8 minutes to secure the victory...

Just my thoughts though... :D

I believe the bottom line is:

The Ravens can effectively shut down the Dolphin offense both on the ground and in the air, where as they can not stop ours effectively enough to win.

I expect the play-off fever to pump them up for a while, but like Dallas the presure will be too much by the 4th quarter.

Add to this our defense's ability to score on turn-overs, well you get the idea. B)

Sorry, but I just have to point this out to you. You are emphasizing the wrong words. Like right here:

You wrote it like this

The RAVENS may stop one of them regularly, but not both...

It should be written like this:

The Ravens may stop ONE of them regularly, but not BOTH...

Whats going to happen is this:

The Raven will stop one of them all the time, and shut out the other most of the time except maybe one 3-yard run

What also will happen is this:

Ravens go fishing in Miami, and catch a real flub called Ferguson.

Sorry, but I hate it when smart alecs try to be smart @$$es

BUT U FAIL
