Anyone know if they will have the annual John, Ozzie, Steve press conference or if the one John did earlier in the week is all there will be?

Thanks.

I'm sure we will. We seem to do it every year as far back as I can recall. I think it'll happen much later, probably in early February. We typically hold it after the meeting in Tampa. John already said they won't have that meeting until after the Pro Bowl

Last year, they had it done like the third week of January, and maybe even sooner. Since our season lasted longer, I imagine it'll be later.  Like Grim said, I'd imagine it being in early February.

I can't wait for the State of the Ravens address, though. It's extremely insightful and informative. They're always so honest and direct. They tell you exactly what they want to do, and then they do it. The past two years, Ozzie did exactly what he said. In 2013, he said he wanted a safety, a linebacker, and some defensive line help. He did that. Last year, he said they wanted a chain moving receiver, an improved offensive line, and a safety. He did that. So yeah, so excited to hear what they say.

I'm going to guess here, but I imagine he'll say something like...

"We need to improve in the secondary, could tackle better and need to make more plays. You can never have enough CB and pass rushers, and like every year, those positions will be at a premium. We also need to still improve at WR, although we really like the guys we have."

I thought Steve's Florida place is on the other coast (Jupiter Island).

Wheels on the bus...

More interested in what Ozzie has to say. He usually is pretty clear cut on what will happen and the personnel direction the team will actually go.

Just know some national media outlets would possibly use it as another chance to ask the off field questions all over again and they may not have it to avoid that situation. Hope the team has it despite the possibility. Love the openness and information they provide the fans, I would be disappointed if it was dropped this year have to wait and see I guess.

I think the State of the Ravens this year will still be a good conference.   We went so far with so little and so much adversity that I would be honestly shocked if Steve Bisciotti was anything more than disappointed we didn't beat the Patriots.   He has to be proud of what this team did this year, and he has to also see that things are in good shape to get right back into it next year.

I'd love to see Steve talking about the team future and the necessary improvement cuz he talks in a background of being a fan: boss of fans, ruler of fans, or king of fans.  Like he said, he had the most luxury perks as a fan like he can talk to Ozzie and Harbs to discuss about roster shuffle.

I'm pretty excited to have our owner appeared once a year to review our team performance and the forward direction.

I'd like him to offer Kubiak a ludicrous contract for many years to come.

Is this next week?

I'm so anxious to hear Steve, Harb, Ozzie, and DIck addressing the Ravens nation about the upcoming offseason plans.....

You mean you're so anxious to hear Steve, Harb, Ozzie, and DIck addressing the Ravens nation about what defensive backs they plan to pick up?

Yeah, seems like it's next week, probably Tuesday if I remember right. I'm excited to say the least.

The State of the Ravens will be on Feb. 24, according to The Fan's Jerry Coleman on Twitter.

Wow it's later than usual this year. I also work that day, too. Ugh.

I'll probably have class or work during it, too. Hope I have a break to see it live. And yeah, it's way late this year. Wonder why. Maybe there's no reason.

It's probably due to Pro Bowl week and Harbaugh's SB TV involvement. After that it only makes sense to do it after the combine where everybody will be pretty busy.

The one thing I got from this is that we can end speculation on Ozzie retiring or going back to Alabama anytime soon. He pretty much shut down the talk in recent years of him stepping down by saying that when it isn't fun anymore, is when he will step down.

It's so great to see the stability we have when you look at the rest of the league and how many GMs get fired each year, and how many become GMs and get fired real quick.

I also liked the fact Steve wants more home playoff games and wants to win the AFC North more. So much good came out of it that at this point we should just stop speculating, sit back and as we say.... In Oz We Trust.

The one thing I got from all this was Ozzie put Elam on notice. That made the conference for me.

I know right?!?! I expect improvement from him or I'm completely done with him (kinda like 3 strikes and you're out).

We won the North in 12. The team needs to win games on a more consistent basis throughout the season. The team has still yet to string together 5 wins in a row under Harbaugh.

That was two years ago plus in the Harbaugh Era, we have only won the North twice. 2011 and 2012 were the only two years we won the North under Harbaugh. First three years under him(2008 - 2010) we finished second, and the last two seasons(2013 and 2014) we have finished third.

So you can see why he made that comment about wanting to win our division more.

I get it. Trust me. Need more home playoff games.

I'm gonna say it again and time after time that the Ravens nation are blessed to have the owner like Steve Bisciotti.  Whatever happened to all the craziness, I hope Steve don't sell the Ravens to anyone.

I'm really excited for 2015 season........time to bury the Bengals and Steelers.....
