That's something to think about, he certainly couldent be much worse than elam in coverage, but we cut him when he was only accounting for like 1 mil against the cap, so I'm thinking we wouldent even want him back, harbs wanted him gone for some reason I think.

If we're talking reality, we won't get near Revis because of his contract history and demands. Maxwell seems to be the consensus around here. Flowers might be reasonable. Maybe Tramon who I think is fast!

I don't think he'll go for more than the 5 million he got last year and if we give him a two to three year contract with a signing bonus, it won't hit our cap too hard. 2014 wasn't as good for him as 2013 was, stats wise. I think with restructuring and cuts, we will better off than we think. I think we'll be a tempting team for him since we are only a couple healthy players and FA 's away from a Super Bowl and he'll want that ring.

My friend, $5 million is low balling him. He is going to ask, and deserve, around $8 million a year

IMHO he's an upgrade over graham if we land him. Legit #3 or 2 if someone goes down

Bringing Cary Williams back to Baltimore is a no brainer. He comfortable with the team, city, scheme, players and coaches. Very durable, hasn't missed a game in 4 years. Lets get it done Ozzie!

Really want Culliver, Cary, or Maxwell... I think Culliver is a really solid corner and won't command the price tag Maxwell does, if we can get some depth in the secondary in FA/Draft this is a scary defense heading into next year. We already have a vicious front 7 and Mosley is going to be even more dominant with his rookie year under his belt.

I'd be OK with him coming back here on a cheap deal, of which I expect will be what he would get from us. He was never terrible. I just hate his attitude and mouth. He's a solid CB, though, and as we all saw that's important.

Attitude is an underrated attribute for a CB. Swagger goes a long way on an island.

Yeah, for sure. I suppose you have a point. I just never did like the way he carried himself. Still, he could at least tackle and that's something we miss.

I never liked the way he got into fights on the field, but this isn't a gentlemen's game. If my corner covers tight and makes tackles, I don't care all that much if he gets in a small fight or two. You don't win by being nice.

 

Not saying I defend his fighting, just that I'll deal with it if he plays okay.

He walks that fine line of having an attitude problem but I think if he's willing to come back on a somewhat modest deal I would be more than happy to have him back, the corner play last year outside of Jimmy was THAT bad. I think doctors in Maryland started asking people if they had watched Chykie Brown play lately when they came in with high blood pressure.

Lol, for sure. I would be fine with bringing him back on a cheap deal. He got his pay day and I don't think he'll have a hot market. I think he could be re-signed cheap and I think we'd have a solid CB corps with him, Jacobs, Jackson, Melvin, and Jimmy Smith with Webb. I think it would also put a lot of pressure on Webb as well, not necessarily to take a pay cut but to play well.

Wasn't upset at all when we did not re-sign Cary after 2012. He played streaky and, yes, he had attitude issues but he works hard, knows the system, and you'd be lying if you say we could not have used him last year.
