Does anyone know what is going on with Jordan Cameron? He was supposed to be the next greatest tight end. Are teams scared of the injury history? because I was expecting him to be gone by the 4 pm deadline. I know we already have the position of injured\promising tight end in Dennis Pitta but JCam's injury is not as serious and if he passes a physical any chance we might get him with the cap space we now have?

Yes his injury history is the only thing holding him back. Anyone with a history of multiple concussions is a concern and that's why I know Ozzie won't sign him unless he can work out a solid contract that would be cheap and has little to no guaranteed $.

I just realized but I think Daniel Fells is still available as a free agent TE from the Giants. He would be a nice addition at TE.

Cameron's had a history of concussions, which makes him a high risk, Because we have so many needs, I don't see us spending much until later when we can find some bargains. I also like Gilmore and think he can step in at TE.

Cameron is still young..hes 3 or 4 years younger than pitta ..i guess its a risk but hey..we would have two 6 foot 5 tight ends one that blocks and one that makes tough catches..

What about Dwayne Bowe? I think he can be had for cheap. It would allow us to really stock up in the draft or trade up to get a player having him in the fold. I think he can be signed for 4-6 mil due to his arrest last season and declining production due to Reid's offense and their QB.

All these QB trades are gonna look terrible eventually!! Any team in need of a QB should be pursuing Mettenberger!! He is a future elite QB in the NFL. I wanted the ravens to draft him VERY VERY MUCH!! Bad system and bad coaching is the only thing that can hold him back. If Rob Housler is willing to work hard on his hands and route chemistry with Joe, he has more raw talent than Jordan Cameron. He has worked hard with Fitzgerald but if he really wants it he can be an elite TE if he works very hard with his QB and system.
