I'm not surprised we put in a claim.  Word is that we liked him quite a bit coming out.

I would like Arrington but I can't get the image of just how bad he played last year out of my head. He's had good and bad games. I have mixed feelings on him but I think we could do a lot worse and he's better than nothing.

I don't envision him being our number 3 corner right off the bat but he does add solid competition.

From Rotoworld, it says Ozzie Newsome has expressed "frustration" contract negotiations with Yanda. Then they say KO is a candidate for extension and that because he's five years younger than Yanda, a contract extension with him may be more doable for the long term.

If anything, it won't cost much for the OL Franchise Tag so we could always tag Yanda for next season if we have to. Just hope something gets done before this season.

I checked into the context of what Rotoworld shared. Hensley initially reported the "frustration," but I think he's reading too far into it. All Ozzie said was this: "If we don't get it done, we'll move on to the next."

To me, Hensley is reading too far into what was said.

Yep I was just going to say this.  I think Hensley is grasping here.

I suspect a deal with Yanda will get done mid-summer when he gets here for camp. Can't imagine negotiations are that difficult with Yanda. His first deal came fairly quick.

Hmmm...Rotoworld didn't say frustration but there is a bit of concern there.

I'd prefer us to extend Ngata--EDIT: (YANDA, sorry) first and check K.O's price.

I honestly don't know if we can keep both. Not only that but with Wagner going into his 3rd year, if he can play on the high level coming back from that injury, then he's a prime candidate for an extension.

I'm assuming you mean Yanda? But I'm right there with you on pretty much everything though. I hope the Yanda extension comes before the regular season.

I'm guessing Yanda doesn't want to do an extension yet. Last time this happened, he tested free agency and immediately came back to the Ravens, who matched the deal IIRC. He might want to see what his market value is again and  do the same as he did last time. I'm guessing Ozzie just wants to do a simple extension and avoid all the questions since that puts him in a tough spot if both Yanda and KO go.

This may be pretty unrealistic especially because of the drafting of Myers, but if it gets more on through the summer and an extension cannot be reached with either Yanda or Osemele it could be very interesting to monitor the situation of Ronald Leary. The Cowboys signed Collins and early word is its looking very likely he is going to take over the Cowboys LG spot. Leary is a pretty solid and young (26) LG who was the "weak" spot on the Cowboys line although that speaks more to the Cowboys line than Leary's actual play. It would be an embarrassment of riches this year but if Ozzie was positive that he could not keep both Yanda and Osemele a trade for Leary could be an interesting route. I would only like to see it if Ozzie pulled one of those deals where you basically ask the player up front whether they would sign an extension up front to gauge the situation as the Ravens don't need three guards with their contracts up after the season. Not saying the Ravens really need this but again if Ozzie isn't positive he can resign both Yanda and Osemele this could be an interesting route to add some future insurance to the guard position

I meant Yanda, sorry about that.

Yeah, Yanda was the best OL last season, age could play a factor but he's smarter than that, IMO he would command a contract that would guarantee him a good future, further than Football.

Aaron Wilson saying the team has agreed to terms with vet CB Cassius Vaughn. Adding more depth there.

Ravens have agreed to terms with veteran corner Cassius Vaughn, sources say: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-agree-to-terms-with-veteran-corner-cassius-vaughn-sources-say-20150528-story.html

Who is this Cassius Vaughn? Anybody have any intel on this guy?

Journeyman corner, limited amount of return experience, didn't do too hot in the playoffs against Dallas but solid otherwise

Yeah thanks. Seems like he played for Indy and Detroit, but is mostly a depth move by the Ravens at veteran min.

Camp body, just a vet who knows his way around an NFL training camp and can push the young guys and keep them on their toes . I think bringing in guys like this is important because it makes guys like Asa and Melvin "earn" their spots. I don't see Vaughn making the 53 though.

I think we said the same thing about Corey Graham when he first got here.

Let's give the guy a chance before we call him a "camp body"

Returned 24 kicks for 686 yards and a TD. Longest Return was 97 yards. Will probably be our 4th corner and probably return specialist unless someone else steps up.

Melvin and Asa are above him on the depth chart, he might be the 6th.

Nobody is above anyone behind Arrington, they'll have to earn the 4th spot.

Also. Barring any camp injuries and Clady being out, Peyton looks in for a tough time week 1.

This will imminsley help out our pass rush

We'll be coming after Gino no doubt and they'll be starting a rookie RT

not so fast

Max Garcia is a stud. I wanted us to draft him and I'll bet even though he's G/C he'll be under C
