Hurst and urschel

I'd like to see it as well but I do remember when we had Grubbs and yanda too. We develop me the rest of the league steals em.

That's the truth. I just hope this time we can keep both guards

Osemele tweeted today that Urschel is a pro bowl talent. It's good when your teammates validate you!!

KO should know, he is Pro Bowl level talent.

I was so impressed with everyone member of the O-line this year! Great credit goes to both the system the Kubiak brings and the coaching of Castillo.

KO and Yanda are both top 5 guards in the NFL and Wagner was the best RT in the league. In my opinion Monroe was fully health from about half through the season and we'll see a vast improvement in his play next year. Zuttah was up and down but a huge upgrade on last year. Urshel and James Hurst provided great depth and played above their draft position (or UDFA). It Urshel can slide into C like others have suggested then a line of Monroe, KO, Urshel, Yanda and Wagner in this system might be top 3 in the league again.

I also think going up against the Front 7 day in and day out must have been a huge help. The next step is to see the secondary get healthy and the WR and secondary can push each other on. All in all bring on next year!!!

I think we should try and trade Hurst while we can get something for him. Keep Urschel as depth and to eventually start.

I wouldn't consider that unless we got insane value for him, and that would be a first or second round pick. I don't think anyone does that. You also need quality depth. Having quality depth is never a bad thing. Imagine if we didn't have him.

All I can say is, " WOW! Who picked those 2 guys." Remember Yanda played right tackle for us one season and did very well. I was in favor of leaving him there because it is much easier to find a guard but this thread is about Hurst and Urshel. They played so well how will Harbaugh set the line? I have no idea but those guys played lights out.

Never trade a superior left tackle.

Gino? Solid? Hes played like half a dozen snaps thus year and was the lowest ranked center in the league

Never said Gino was a solid starter. He adds depth to spell our inside Online guys in the event we have the same issue or something similar next year.Besides, he seemed to play a little better on G then he ever did starting at C.

Dude hurst struggled a lot...

Rookie undrafted lineman isn't getting traded.

He will stay put, tone his craft and will likely replace Monroe sometime during the season.

He and urschel will provide our depth until such time they can take over on the line full time.

We are going to see jah leave and most likely Gino as well.
