Hurst and urschel

Luxury depth that many teams dream to have those two guys...

I'm really excited going forward with these guys...

I'm going to credit Juan Castillo too. The line seems well coached.

Juan Castillo is a very good oline coach. One of the best in the league. It was when the Eagles moved him to defensive coordinator???? And he was having them play wide 9 that his reputation took a hit.

Center.

These 2 guys were solid. A 5th rdr and a UDFA. Amazing.

Makes me feel bad for teams that don't have a great scouting department for a minute. I'm over it now. Go Ozzie/Decosta and staff and keep it coming. This team along with the Pats and Colts have to be the most among the most consistent teams of the last decade.

Our draft class this last year was damn insane.  We found guys who are all going to essentially "start" outside Wenning. Gilmore as a #2 TE and Campanero as a #3 WR.  Absolutely astounding what Ozzie did.

If there was no such thing as FA we could very well have the best Oline in the league for the next 4 years.

Yanda is going nowhere. He will retire a raven. What a player.

Complete stud.  Haven't seen a RG move to RT and not miss a beat and still dominate.

I don't mean to brag but I'm pretty sure I was Castillo's only supporter last year. I don't wanna say I told ya so....

All I can set is I'm impressed with both, but Urschel took care of Wilfork on multiple plays. He at least deserves a chance to start somewhere. Please don't get rid of Yanda though.

Gotta love when he was holding up big Vince all his own. On a side note, bet Yanda had some college flashbacks play RT again lolz. Also, with Monroe, Hurst, and Wagner as shown themselves be very solid tackles, can we finally get rid of Reid please? Urschel and Gradkowski have shown to be solid OG's when called upon and KO and Yanda are lights out.

Reid is a FA.  No real question that he's on his way out.

Urschel really impressed me. has all season. Don't be surprised if we try to move him to center and have him compete with Zuttah. Intelligence is huge at center and he may be the smartest guy in the pros.

Gino? Solid? Hes played like half a dozen snaps thus year and was the lowest ranked center in the league

Urschel creates a dilemma. Yanda and KO are the best guard tandem and Wagner was good at RT

That's actually good. Yanda and KO are both FA in 2016 and I think we can only afford one.

AT OG not C. As a backup as well. He's an above average backup.

I'm completely up for Urschel competing for the starting C spot next year. Hurst played well today but has struggled a lot as well. I like him best as a backup for next year obviously, with an eye to him being a future starter.

I wouldn't say he played that well. The refs let the guys play and he got away with some things that aren't always allowed. He was also moved around pretty well, but as you said, is a good backup.

Really excited about Urschel, still on the fence about Hurst. Urschel will definitely be breathing down Zuttah's neck once he adds some functional strength.

Osemele-Urschel-Yanda is going to pave the way for some prolific running totals.

I was his biggest supporter last year when everyone was trying to make him the the scapegoat.

I initially blasted him, but came around due to the lack of talent on that offensive line. I wasn't sold on him, but I wasn't ready to fire him quite yet. He really went above and beyond anything I could have expected and it's just as much a testament to Castillo as Kubiak

People said early this season, "It's just the system change. Castillo still sucks. Kubiak just makes it work." But no, not exactly. Kubiak and Dennison have helped, but when you look at this year's line compared to last year, the talent and the technique is so much better now. I believe Hurst, Urschel, and Wagner have all attributed their success directly to Castillo.

But yes, Kubiak gets credit too. His system makes things easy for the line.

I give credit to the system Kubiak ran and I think it helps that it coincided more with what Castillo wanted to run, but when you look at Hurst, Urschel, and Wagner playing so well, that's Castillo, to me. Those are his young guys to develop and he did an excellent job

Urschel's ascension makes it less likely that we sign both Yanda and KO to extensions in my opinion.

I still keep both KO and Yanda honestly I liked Yanda at RT

Both of those guys impressed early in the year then had some up and down games. But played really well in the playoffs.

Was really impressed with Hurst vs C.Jones. Urshel looked great good seal blocks, got down field on LBs. Having a reserve like Urshel might force us to start using jumbo packages etc. certainly didn't come into this season expecting the oline to be such a strength to this team ( not sure what the percentages of credit are between Kubiak and castillo ) but the o-line did a complete turnaround. Wagner stepped in looked good from day 1. Zuttah and Monroe had more ups and downs than the other 3 starters imo

I'd like to see it as well but I do remember when we had Grubbs and yanda too. We develop me the rest of the league steals em.

Can't keep both, eventually it becomes similar to Grubbs and Yanda ( one set to be paid with the other paid looming too ) we made Grubbs an offer saints paid a little more. ( saints only went after Grubbs because they couldn't afford to keep their Pro Bowl guards together at the time Carl Nicks & Jahri Evans ).

Urshel looked good but I wouldn't bump Wagner out at RT ( to get Urshel in at RG ). Wagner was solid all year out there much better than I could have ever expected. Certainly an improvement over Oher imo.
