You know the more I think about things the more I realize that we may not be moving on or going to the SB this year, but we were better than we gave the team credit for.   You know the Patriots may have won three SB's in a row back a decade ago, but it WAS a decade ago.   They haven't won a SB since 2004.

The Broncos through bringing in Peyton Manning would be the key to their post-Elway Super Bowl woes.   Not yet.  Time is running out on Manning getting his second ring.

Tony Romo finally had enough pieces put around him that for him to fail he would have to literally have both arms and legs chopped off and Romo is just a torso.   And while Dez Bryant let him down with his catch too, he did lose a fumble and they couldn't beat the Packers today where Aaron Rodgers WAS out there with a torn calf.

I'm watching the Broncos game now, and Manning seems to not be able to hit the broadside of a barn anywhere 10 yards or more.  And as I type this with the exception of a holding call on a receiver not even in the play, Manning has all of 52 yards passing with 2:50 left in the half and the Denver crowd is BOOING.

Carolina?   BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

So you know what?  The Ravens took the Patriots to the WIRE.  Joe Flacco took their "vaunted" defense to school, and offensive line kept Flacco almost untouched.   Oh yeah, and they bounced the Steelers too.   We were just as good IMO than a LOT of these teams in the playoffs this year.

Oh yeah, and I know we'll be right back in it next year.   We get some pieces back on defense like Jimmy Smith and Asa Jackson, if Rashad Melvin can continue to develop (he's young, and he's flashed some skills) and we can find someone to play strong safety, our defense will be better next year.    If we can finally get Flacco a legit playmaking WR, and if we can get Forsett back, our offense could get even better.   Please convince Kubiak to stay,

I'm over the game, though I'll still discuss it for a bit.   I actually can't wait for training camp!

If I'm Manning, I retire after this year. He has started to look not so hot since the Broncos played NE.

I second that. Plus we ended Steelers this year - that counts for a lot!

...agree...the Steelers beating was the highlight of the season...

I cringe at the thought of the Ravens reading much of these boards.

This thread however should be hung on the refrigerator at the UA training center.

Not only proud of the RAVENS.  I am proud of the FANS !!!!!!!!!!

So we went down swinging and took the Patriots to the very last whistle.

The Broncos went down with a whimper at home against the Colts, and that's even with Luck throwing two interceptions.

Yeah, I'm becoming more ok with how we went down.

This season was one hech of a roller coaster but if you told me after the Texans game we would be playing the first round in Fox. Not to mention up by 14 points twice during the game I would have dropped dead laughing. Thanks for a great year and lets come back swinging next year. It looks like the Broncos might not be so tough after all next season.

Kubiak turning down multiple interviews to stay with the Ravens is a testimony to how great this franchise is!! We got something special here.

Hearing the news Kubiak is now staying on as OC next year has softened the loss to the Patriots even more, and shows me this organization is intent on getting right back to work and taking that next step next year.

To give up the chance to be an HC despite multiple inquiries speaks volumes about the Ravens organization, Steve Bisicotti, Ozzie Newsome, and John Harbaugh.

So proud to be a Ravens fan!!

There was a post on facebook by the Ravens thanking the fans. The comments I saw by Ravens fans were overwhelmingly positive and people were just appreciative. Never been a prouder Raven fan then when I saw that. Only negative comments were from Patriots fans who thought their team's victory wasn't enough that they had to troll our post. God I hope they get an butt whooping next week. The season will be a complete success if they don't take the Lombardi home.

Thanks for a great year. I think we are going to have a great offseason.  Kubiak is building something here in Baltimore.  We are going to come back a healthier and more complete team next year.  Can't wait!

RAVENS you guys have us a good season, get healthy, bring people back especially Forsett, he is yall bread and butter, the young man is so humble and committed. Forsett gave a great lift to the offense especially when Pierce and the others went down. Please bring him back along with Torrey Smith, Steve Smith Sr, Owen Daniel and others I might forgotten. Just need to beef up our secondary...GO MIGHTY PURPLE!!!!! RAVENS FOR LIFE!!!!!!

What I did find out is January Joe is real. It's not a myth or a one time thing, I have complete confidence in him as the LEADER of this team.

You know what makes me love this team even more?   Almost EVERYONE involved in this season's success openly professes their desire to come back and get the job done, at least on offense.

Steve Smith isn't retiring, Gary Kubiak turning down possible HC jobs, Justin Forsett WANTING to resign, Torrey Smith wanting to get something done before FA, Owen Daniels wanting another shot..

This doesn't happen with teams that have bad leadership or losing cultures.   The Ravens are a class-A organization with a top flight owner, fantastic head coach, and that reflects on players and coaches wanting to be here.   How can you ask for more?

Like most have said, great season we competed to the end and have a lot to look forward to next year.

Really pumped about Campenro, Kapron Lewis Moore, John Urschle, James Hurst, Terrance Brooks, Lorenzo Taliefro and Timmy Jernigan. Wow just notice all of guys are rookies with the exception of Leiws Moore (practically a rookie as he hasn't played a regular season game as yet). But what a great draft class for us, no need to mention number 57 because we all know he is a beast. None the less lets go Ravens, great year on to the next one

Is Hurst the guy moving forward? I was never a fan of Monroe he is too much like Gaither and i think he is in the Hardhead doghouse

Honestly I think so. I remeber watching Football Game Plan Last year which i subscribed to on youtube and the czar of the playbook had Hurst ranked #1 at the tackle position, was shock that broken leg threw him all the way down to undrafted in the draft (oh well better for us). Next year Munrone will be here due to the dead money he is carrying, but if Hurst keeps it up we made have him on the trading block. But Hurst is the guy I think going forward.

What? There is nothing factually accurate about this comment except that guys named Hurst, Monroe, and Gaither have played for the Ravens at some point in the Harbaugh era.

Gaither's problem was work ethic. He was actually a better talent than Monroe. Monroe is well known for his professionalism, perseverance, and commitment to his craft, making him the polar opposite of Gaither. The doghouse has nothing to do with Monroe, given these facts, and you really think this is an appropriate moment to whine about Harbaugh? And in this thread? Wow.

So just about EVERYTHING in Denver is starting to unravel.  John Fox was just let go, the rest of his staff basically told to go ahead and look for jobs.   Good chance Peyton is gone, Wes Welker is gone, and they need to try and resign a bunch of guys.

Fox's record in Denver?  An apparently too-low-for-Elway 46-18.   4 straight playoffs.    And Elway pushes him out the door.

Makes me respect the Ravens organization THAT much more!

Proud of this team.

Disappointed in the outcome but so proud of the way they've battled all season

Agreed. Another roller coaster of emotions game after game but our team kept moving forward regardless of the issues arising constantly

Surely seemed they went "all in" this year but that's a heck of a rebuild they're gonna have

I'm going to be savoring that Steelers win until September!

We have a very potent offense in the making led by a potent OC. And I'm not saying the O wasn't good this year. It was, and very improved over '13. I just trust Ozzie and Crew to make us better in '15. We actually lit up an excellent Pats defense for 31 points despite not having a true #1 WR! I hope we play them again next year in the playoffs and crush them.

And after all the years suffering with Cam.

I believe we can look forward to another January Joe for sure. I'm excited to see what moves Ozzie will make.

But man it was disappointing to lose Pita. I seriously hope he's back with no issues whether we can get another TE or not. I just like to watch him play.  Yeah, I know I may be too optimistic here.

Like the whole Ravens organisation. Great owner and GM. Harbaugh's a class guy.  But man, does he make me groan with some of the go for it on 4th and 1 calls. Lol.  Even then, I love the guts he displays and the confidence he displays in the team which in turn inspires the players to excel.

Go Ravens!!! Thanks for another great season.

Next year is the Ravens 20th season probably will have some kind of patch/logo. Sometime in November is the 20th anniversary of the announcement from then Governor Glendenning that original Browns were moving to Baltimore. I heard Art did to avoid going bankrupt in Cleveland. Seems like only yesterday I was in Memorial Stadium watching Vinnie Testqaverde score the first TD in Ravens history. To quote the Grateful Dead "What a long strange trip its been."

Was just thinking about this season and had to comeback here to say "Thanks Ravens!" I've said this a few times already in this thread, but sometimes it just makes me smile and so proud to be a fan. From the beginning to the end - we challenged convention and overcame. Not to mention, "The Best Fans in the League" because family stayed family no matter what anybody else thinks.

Next year...let's really give them something to talk about...SB!

Who cares about the negatives?

We are spoiled with a winning team!!  And awesome players!

So many cities aren't even close.

Love the Ravens , top to bottom.

Look at the Super Bowl -

We don't cheat, and we don't have an obnoxious HC.

Wait 'til next year.

All the way!!

I think most in the vent thread are actually sharing the same sentiment as in here though. Most ate pprobably mad because they felt we had a real shot this year after seeing how the performance against the Patriots. I don't think I've seen anyone really disappointed or mad though about the team. Not the usual vent thread.
