Thanks, Ravens! We're Proud of You!

You really couldn't ask for more from this Team. They battled through adversity all year long.  And they left nothing on the field last night, playing with every ounce of guts they had. I feel sad, not so much as a fan, but for the lack of reward for the efforts of a great squad and group of coaches.

Thank You Ravens!

Excited for this defense and want to know what would happen if we had a playmaker on offense. Game breaker type of weapon. It's about time we went out and found one.

Not mad at all about this game which is weird. The win last week was enough to hold me over til next year. What this team showed me today shows how bright this teams future is. Can't wait to see urban next year and hopefully a healthy Jimmy and an improved Brooks.

lets hope 1 falls to us in the draft.

I can't begin to express how proud I am of this team. Many people didn't expect them to get this far and they proved a lot of people wrong. I will now commence offseason prospect research and wait for the draft. Go Ravens!

Our team is the best team Harb could coach.  They sailed through one adversity into another.  Just to be here with a clothesline loss is no harm but actually an honor  We should be proud of our Baltimore Ravens

Despite being in the media crosshairs all year and a unreal number of injuries, you guys made it to the divisional round and almost pulled it off!!!!! Go Ravens. We will finish the drive next year!!

Thats the attitude  Go Ravens

Great season.  Played against a lot of adversity. distractions, and injuries. Knocked our arch rivals out of the playoffs while winning in Pittsburgh and gave the #1 seed everything they could handle. Were so close to moving on.  Definitely showed we belonged in the playoffs.

Hopefully most Ravens fans won't go into the fire (blank) & cut (blank) craze based off just this admirable loss.

That will happen.   Search around here on Monday for a complete audit.

The past two weeks have been amazing. Thanks, you guys played your hearts out. Harbs is right, one bounce of the ball and we could be going to Denver.

very proud of this team, the ravens really are the scariest team in the league for one reason, we can pull of any upset, i dont care who were facing, i wish they didnt break my heart by starting out so strong and ending up losing, makes it hurt worse, but we'll be back next year.

I am proud that you guys are not whining about all the major injuries and using it as an excuse for anything that has happened this season!

But I would be a liar if I said I did not wonder where we would be right now with a healthy Jimmy, Pitta and Wagner.

Our future is bright.

The loss hurts but how many people put us here? Most people put us in the tank a long time ago. We came within a couple gimmick plays of an afc championship with a secondary of 3rd\4th\ps\street guys. We have alot to be proud of this year with the way we played. The offense stepped us major and our rookie class was outstanding. We saw guys like rick wagner, john urshel, and james hurst come out of nowhere to play big parts. We are going to watch CJ get DROY. We saw more playoff Joe and Forsett overachieve.

It's time to kill another offseason and draft and be back with a fury next year. Remember what happened the last time we lost a heart breaker to the Pats in the playoffs?

I'm glad we have this thread going. I knew this team had potential to make it this far and further at the beginning of the season, but man, as time went on, I was starting to doubt it.

The Rice scandal, Pitta going down, Jimmy going down, rotational secondary, a few horrid games here and there. They battled through adversity and it was great to see. People get on Dean Pees and rightfully so, but he didn't have much to work with in the secondary.

Solid job by the entire team and we just fell short. Somebody had to lose. Our glaring hole was the secondary, it was exposed. The team showed heart! Coming back stronger next time. We all know what happens when we lost a close game to New England in the playoffs, right?

The offseason is gonna be agonizing. What are the boards like in the offseason?

It slows down a week or two after the Super Bowl.

Drama when all the cuts happen.

Ozzie haters and psychics come out in the draft season.

It really is just a lighter version of what its like in season.

proud of this team, these players. Team overachieved this year really - got that can't beat Pitt in the playoffs monkey off our backs, made the playoffs and advanced with no Reed or Lewis, that rumor done.

Went toe to toe with the #1 seed in the AFC.

Pretty impressive season.

Words can't describe what I feel for this team. You played your tails off, proving beyond a doubt you can hang with any team in this league. Proud to call myself a fan.

Proud to be a Ravens fan!  Harbs is a class act and he the players represent the city of Baltimore and all of Maryland well.  We did more this year than I thought possible given the adversities we faced.  THANK YOU RAVENS!

Thanks Ravens for one of the best seasons ever. With everything we've endured we can only be seen as 'winners' and no one of rational thought should ever question our resilience, again. Great job and we're only getting started.

GO Ravens! Purple and black eternally.

There were a lot of positives

Our lines are solid...if we can keep them solid and add a few pieces we could have an exceptional team.

Part of that is Kubiak........losing Kubiak would not be good.

We are in need of some key components. The fact that we are still weak at safety is inexcusable. Can't blame Stewart entirely......we were getting dinked and dunked so often it was probably hard to stay back....referring to the Lafell nonsense TD that

ended it for us.

your not supposed to lose a football game when your control the line of scrimmage.

Although we didn't win the super bowl I couldn't be prouder to be a Ravens fan. My hat off to the team for playing under extrondatory circumstances from the start. To be as young as we are to battle week in and week out with all the adversity and injuries shows that we are on the right path to win another title in the near future. Although the ultimate goal was not reached Raven Nation is proud to be Raven fans.

Read this forum everyday and might start posting a little more going forward...just wanted to check in and say "Thanks Ravens" for a wonderful season.  I'm out here in Broncos country and have managed to bring a couple of new-found friends on board with my team (they still love Broncos first) by sharing my fandom with them and explaining as best as I can who the Ravens are as a team and organization, and these friends were pulling for the purple and black yesterday! Looking forward to seeing what the offseason brings and getting right back at it next year...Ravens forever!

You know the more I think about things the more I realize that we may not be moving on or going to the SB this year, but we were better than we gave the team credit for.   You know the Patriots may have won three SB's in a row back a decade ago, but it WAS a decade ago.   They haven't won a SB since 2004.

The Broncos through bringing in Peyton Manning would be the key to their post-Elway Super Bowl woes.   Not yet.  Time is running out on Manning getting his second ring.

Tony Romo finally had enough pieces put around him that for him to fail he would have to literally have both arms and legs chopped off and Romo is just a torso.   And while Dez Bryant let him down with his catch too, he did lose a fumble and they couldn't beat the Packers today where Aaron Rodgers WAS out there with a torn calf.

I'm watching the Broncos game now, and Manning seems to not be able to hit the broadside of a barn anywhere 10 yards or more.  And as I type this with the exception of a holding call on a receiver not even in the play, Manning has all of 52 yards passing with 2:50 left in the half and the Denver crowd is BOOING.

Carolina?   BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

So you know what?  The Ravens took the Patriots to the WIRE.  Joe Flacco took their "vaunted" defense to school, and offensive line kept Flacco almost untouched.   Oh yeah, and they bounced the Steelers too.   We were just as good IMO than a LOT of these teams in the playoffs this year.

Oh yeah, and I know we'll be right back in it next year.   We get some pieces back on defense like Jimmy Smith and Asa Jackson, if Rashad Melvin can continue to develop (he's young, and he's flashed some skills) and we can find someone to play strong safety, our defense will be better next year.    If we can finally get Flacco a legit playmaking WR, and if we can get Forsett back, our offense could get even better.   Please convince Kubiak to stay,

I'm over the game, though I'll still discuss it for a bit.   I actually can't wait for training camp!

Bears are expect to go all out after Kubiak. I think Kubiak just wants to win at this point. The whole Culter situation makes the bears a death trap. Do you keep him and try to deal with him or just cut him? If you cut him,  then you are cap strapped with a likely rookie QB and that's the last scenario Kubiak wants. if you keep him, history suggests last year is likely to happen again. I think he stays, but we should give him a pay raise for sure.
