Post Game Vent Divisional Round

I appreciate Torrey can draw a Pass Interference flag. but with less than 2mins left I don't feel like he went up for the ball in the endzone and just let the defender get the ball and he tackled/pushed him. why not try to get between ball and defender to high point the ball?

Hopefully he steps his routing running and steps up his body position game next season. He had a spark when he started...but he ain't becoming that number 1 we need going forward.

Can somone please explain to me why they would even attempt the play. Even if Torrey had caught it, there would have been sooooo much time for the PATS to march right down the field to win the game. Its not like there was 4 th down or there was 20 seconds left and the Pats didnt have a timeout left.

For the life of me, i can not understand the reasoning. It was very clear that our Def could NOT stop them at all.

I'll tell you guys something.

If we had jimmy and a Strong safety worth talking about we would have owned the patriots tonight.

those Dinks to the side were killing us slowly

torrey is what he is.

Boy if we had a dez bryant..

Dink and Dunks always kill us from NE. Brady throws a 10 yard pass that goes for 35 yards everytime.

Because the objective is to score, not run out the clock.

If you get a chance to score, you take it. The clock, while important, is secondary, not primary.

I guess I should blame Joe though... he did throw it to a receiver who has no intention of ever aggressively going after a football.

Tough one to swallow, but at the end of the day our secondary was non-existant for the majority of the season and we knew it. The Pats made us pay for it.  We need a clutch receiver because Dennis can't be counted on to recover fully until we actually see it on the field and nobody else on the roster is going to be that guy.  We also need a starting corner across from Jimmy because Webb doesn't look like he's going to ever fully recover to what he once was.  Other than that, I'd say this was a great season given the patchwork secondary we went in there with.

Good season ravens. Heck of a job getting this far especially with all the injuries and off field stuff that's happened this season.

pats came back from TWO, not one, but TWO 14 point deficits. our secondary did exactly what most expected, which was lose the game for us. also, dumervil apparently didnt even make the flight to foxborough.

Sad, but proud of how they played. Never thought they'd keep it so close in a shootout. Sucks that we lost two 14 point leads though. Defense needs work. And Torrey...that's not how you step up in a contract year.

Yeah he didn't give the effort to break that up or make a play on the ball. That half hearted lung into the defender did nothing.

Honestly Torrey has already reached his ceiling. I mean his route running has improved marginally since he got in the league. His hands were not as reliable this year as last year.

The problem wasn't so much secondary as scheme.  They needed to drop a DE or LB into those strongside flat zones.  Instead, they just kept giving eight-yard cushions.

As always thought most will blame Flacco for the loss especially the media and fans who call on the radio.

Disappointing, but hard to beat NE with an undrafted practice-squad CB playing man on Edelman and LaFell all game. I hate to blame it on injuries but we really missed our CB's

Besides the secondary play, not a big Torrey fan tight now....think about the selfish calls, doesnt fight for the ball, terrible hands, way too passive for this team....find a young Boldin

Torrey is trash. DBs are trash. Some very dumb situational playcalling. Jacoby is awful. Hard to throw hail marys to 5'9 or non-fight for the ball WRs. Like it was said, you blow TWO 14 point leads........go home and smack yourself repeatedly.

At this point, I don't even want him here next season. Yes, I'm mad. I'll get over it because I like Torrey the person, but I swear, he hasn't earned any high dollar money.

Worst thing about this is our draft has to be defense heavy again. God we are so bad.

The defense has gotten the last six high draft picks. It's time to try a new DC and give the offense some love. Can't do it with receivers like Torrey.
