Ray Lewis delivers speech to Indy team.

Serious question. Do you guys actually like that idiotic, self-centered dance Ray Lewis opened each game with? That crap would not fly with almost any other NFL organization. The man was a great linebacker, but not at all my kind of guy.

What's it like to not have a soul? It must be a sucky life to not have any fun and to belittle fun things. I pity you.

I have no problem with it. It's just relationships, that's all. Ray and Chuck are close, so it makes sense. Harbs wouldn't ask him to do it because it's John's time to create his own legacy, he doesn't need Ray Lewis to be party to all his accomplishments.

I absolutely love it!

Dont Care, id rather Ray, NOT come by and give a speech. Ravens dont need it, i know Flacco wouldnt want it and maybe Suggs for that matter. We have our Leaders on this Roster.  This Play off run is about this Team and this Team ONLY.  I think the Speeches got played out along time ago, too many in a short span of time , samething over and over again. Flacco basically found them comical at the end. We dont need the distraction.

The Ravens are trying to move passed our Long time hall of famer players.  Honestly, if anything, i could see it happening maybe next week if  make it past the PATS but i rather him not imo.

I'd absolutely love for the great Ray Lewis to come and inspire theses Ravens.  His presence wouldn't take away anything that "THIS" Ravens team has accomplished since his departure.  It is amazing to me to see all of the "hate" that Ray seems to constantly receive from Ravens fans since he retired.  That's a damn shame to me!  The man was the face of this franchise for years and we all know that he gave us his all each and every week.  He spilled his blood, sweat and tears for this team, city and fan base.  There's even a awesome statue of him in front of M&T Bank stadium near the Unitas statue that validates his contribution.  What this also proves is that what one person despises (Ray's speeches) another person (Church Pagano) respects and honors. Good for Chuck who brought in a friend to talk to his team to further encourage them.  Nothing wrong with that!

GO RAVENS!

Maybe it's because I'm 25 but I don't hold a grudge over Indy.  We have a great franchise with the Ravens so to me everything with the Mayflower driveaway worked out better for Baltimore anyway.  Had Ray gave a speech to PIT or NE that'd be a different story.  Hell, Indy isn't even our opponent this weekend.

Pretty much exactly what you said. Also if Harbaugh had asked Ray he would have been in Baltimore first and that's a fact. We're good on leaders though.

Well Colts advanced :268213:

Tell the colts to give back our superbowl trophy and team name based on marylands horse racing tradition. Granted Indy races horse power in terms of cars....but they should have left the history. I like the Ravens name and like it being part of the bird nest idea....but we need the rights to that name back and the trophy.

I'm in my late 20 and was mad I didn't have a home football team to root for especially after finding out b-more had a team and they left town.

If Ray's speech helped them win i hope he goes back again this week to give another. Anything goes to keep the scum bag patsies out of the SB.

Oh, I really hope the dumb sports analysts of this world (and by that I mean all of them) don't come to this conclusion. This season proved that the Ravens can win without Ray.

There is no way this team would've made the playoffs and won in Pitt without some great leadership after all the crap they have been through this season.

I think this was a request from an Old friend Chuck to Ray, it might look bad now but honestly, Ray is a retired player, not a man forever in debt to the Ravens.

Yeah, really. People think he owes us since we gave him a statue. Uh, no?

I'd be pissed if I were a Colts fan or player.

Still don't get why. Lots of players aready go to Ray for advice and encouragement. You know ben and Ray also used to talk on the phone during the season too

Lol. Where did you get that from?

I'm sure he only did it cuz of Pagano and hey it must have worked. But I do feel a little letdown he didn't do it for us.

I didnt want him to do it for us because if the Ravens won his speech would have taken away from the victory and people would of started giving him credit. People already give him credit for their SB run and it took away from Flaccos performance(which continued in this playoff run). I like Ray Lewis but the Ravens are a heck of a lot larger than him.

I don't think we would have allowed Ray to give a pep talk even if he offered. Time to turn that page......

I guess Chuck could have asked Peyton Manning to give the team a Pre-Game Pep talk. I think it speaks

volumes about the respect Chuck has for Ray and the Ravens. Baltimore rules the roost!
