They may just shock the Pats though

Say what you will about Peyton... he's a class act

No objections here and what he accomplished after really bad injury is pretty great. But he definitely earned his rep as a choker.

Right... Just like waving off Osweiler when they were blowing teams out, so he could throw more... He's no class act , IMO. His competitiveness won't allow it

ha. Well at least he doesn't whine and scream when someone looks at him funny on the field.

He's done PLENTY of crying when he gets hit. Hes done it against the Ravens .

Hm. I'll take your word for it, but nothing sticks out in my mind like it does every time we play Brady

If manning doesn't return next year the broncos would have at least $40 million in cap space ( assuming cap is just $140mil) . means they can bring back both Thomas's and would be maybe an 8-8 team IMO.

I will say this though... Manning did most everything on his own. It's not like he had a HOF coach like Brady and most of the Colts defenses were junk. They squandered a TON of opportunities

Well, possibly; but, since the game would have been played in Indy, the dome setting would have been tough for our secondary to do anything. Indy's offense has the potential to be too quick for opposing defenses. Not to mention, Jimmy Smith and Asa Jackson were still playing when the Ravens lost to Indy, earlier in the year.

Didn't jimmy smith get hurt early in that game?

Manning made those guys... Demarius to a lesser extent, but still.

Manning has been surounded with offensive weapons his entire career, he didnt even play well the year they won the SB. The guy is great and is HOF but in playoff games they are many other QBs I'd take over him easily.

You know Trent Richardson may have been a healthy scratch, but if the Colts beat the Patriots what an amazing trade off for him. Drafted by the Browns in 2012, traded a year later. Then 2 years later he's playing in the Super Bowl when if he didn't get traded, he'd been sitting at home all this time.

Indy showing us how to close a game and how to defend zone

Colts have a better defensive coach and a top 5 corner in Vontae Davis.

I was hoping to see the game end with a Patented Playoff Peyton Pick, but that ending was just pathetic. You're down by two scores with four minutes left, so you throw four-yard ducks over the middle? I thought Peyton's biggest asset was supposed to be his mind. And that 4th down pass should have at least been to someone who was past the first-down marker. What a joke.

Such a great career (regular season at least) could have just flamed out in the most lucklustre, pathetic way I'd have imagined. That Broncos side was beyond sad.

Yeah wasn't surprised the broncos lost, they have looked awful despite being 12-4 this year. Bring on the hawks

The Broncos are proof that championships can't be bought in free agency anymore. Their window has slammed shut. What a sad ending. Shame, Peyton is a classy dude. Much more than that arrogant brat Brady. Hope the Colts do what we couldn't.

Wow..... Dean Blandino is a total idiot. Despite the fact Dez caught ball, took 3 steps and made a football move toward the end zone, he says Dez is a receiver still trying to complete the catch. How can you still be trying to catch a ball you already caught?

Even the NFL doesn't know what a catch is anymore.

Yeah, and the Eagles are still the benchmark for epic FA failures.

Teams that make headlines in March rarely make them in January.

Tom Brady: -0.4

Joe Flacco: -3.2

I don't understand how do these grades work?

They watch every single player on every single play and give out points based on whether it was a "good" or "bad" play. Their overall grade is the player's average score for all those plays.

I must say that I am really glad we took out the Steelers or we could be watching a Pats-Steelers AFCCG.

I would really enjoy a Pack-Colts Super Bowl.
