Divisional Round Discussion (Other NFL Teams)

431 posts in this topic

So here we go, Divisional weekend is here and the games should be much better than last week's. Seattle plays host to the Carolina Panthers who have played them tough in each of the last three games. Then you have the Ice Bowl rematch between Dallas and The Pack and Manning vs Luck. Who moves on to the Championship Round?

Panthers @ Seahawks: These two have played each other to final scores of 16-12, 12-7 and 13-9. Except, those were all played in Carolina and this is the first time these two have met in Seattle since 2010. Not sure if beating a Ryan Lindley led team is an upset but it would be a huge upset if Carolina knocks off the defending champions.

Cowboys @ Packers: So.... Cowboys are 8-0 on the road, Packers are 8-0 at home. Something has to give, this should be a good game. Hopefully the Pack win and Karma hits the Cowboys for what happened last week against the Lions.

Colts @ Broncos: Manning vs Luck, Playoff edition.

I'm pulling for the Panthers cuz I like the upset....

I hate them Cowgirls; hopefully, Rodgers' leg isn't too much troubling him.  I can see Packers beat the Cowboys.  Romo will choke with few ints..

Broncos have ups and downs; I think the Colts will sneak out with a W....

Ravens. Colts. Packers. Panthers.

Panthers & Hawks should be such a great defensive game.... I've picked Panthers the last two times and each game was extremely close. I'm gonna continue riding with em.

Would be cool to see the Panthers win at Seattle

I don't know about the Dallas/Green Bay game. From what I've read, Cowboys are undefeated when Romo gets a full week of rest so I'm gonna say Cowboys in a close one. I also think Rodgers "no int" at home streak is going to end. I don't really know, this game could go either way.

I think Colts win. Peyton Manning just doesn't look the same.

It's hard to get a feel for the Colts/Denver game. Peyton's one-and-done runs are infamous, but it's hard to trust a dome team in Denver in January.

LOL why is the Seahawks WR taunting - flipping the ball in his opponents face - after he comes up short on 3rd down?

I want Carolina to win. If they win, then we get a better draft position. That's all I care about now. Go Panthers!

Pretty much how I see it, 25 is better than 26 and they could be in the WR/CB market as well

By one spot? They win, we pick 25th. They lose, we pick 26th. We don't have many picks so regardless 25th or 26th I expect us to trade down to acquire more picks.

It's always better to have a better draft position, even if it's by one. You never know how valuable that could be.

Besides, I would kind of find it neat for a team like the Panthers to win it all with the record they had. Lol. I don't mind the Panthers.

Wow, is it me or do the commentators seem biased toward Seattle? That TD by Kearse, the announcer was screaming.
