Top 20 Set For 2009 Draft

Just looking to see who has what, and who might fall to us...

First thing I noticed is Detroit has two first rounders. They'll almost certainly take a QB #1 overall. And probably a WR with the other (j/k)...maybe with their second pick they take the best defensive player on the board, since they need help at nearly every position on D.
Anyway, looks like many of the teams in the top 20 desperately need either a WR or CB, which sucks for us since those are our two biggest priorities. STL, KC, CHI, BUF, SFO, JAX, OAK and TB will be giving serious consideration to available WR's, and nearly every team in the top 20 other than CHI, JAX and Washington could take a CB  .
So, what do we do? Trade up and try to grab someone, or trade down?

If there is a guy our scouts really like (Malcolm Jenkins, Vontae Smith, Jeremy Maclin, Mike Mickens) and are a future superstar, I say we do what we did with Flacco and go get him. I'm confident in our scouts' analysis of players and I'm willing to trust them if they feel a player is the real deal. We had a lot of draft picks last year, so maybe we can afford to give some up for a prospect higher on the list. I also feel like there will be many great prospects in the later rounds and that's where we thrive, so if we trade down I'll support that too.

Personally, I say we trade up and get a top notch CB or DE, they just aren't as ready to start right away in the later rounds.

i turst our scouts to make the right desicions and do whats best for our orginization

If detroit was smart theyd take Andre Smith at one and Brandon Spikes or George Selvie at with the secound first rounder, they can then take Freeman or stafford if he falls to them so then they have a great set of franchise tackles in smith and cherilus with a great running back in Smith and with Freemans and Staffords arm throwing to CJ would work all day, they then have a great offence and you build the 4-3 defence through the LB so you draft spikes to play next to sims to have a great young linebacker pairing and if they can add a Ron Brace of Filif Moala with there third they have a great young defence aswell. thats what the lions should do

for us i want (in our range, not in order BTW)

CB - Alphonso Smith, Vontae Davis
LB- James Laurinatiis
D-line - Tyson Jackson, Bj Raji, Sen Derrick Marks, Peria Jerry
T - Ciron Black, Duke Robinson (i believe he will be an elite right tackle)
TE - Jermaine Gresham, Brnadon Pettigrew
WR - Jeremy Maclin, Kenny Britt

any of those players is who the ravens should draft

Duke Robinson is a guard.

we're gonna be at least in the 21-32 range in the draft so players i would like to see us look at are:

DE-Michael Johnson, Tyson Jackson, George Selvie, Everette Brown
LB-James Laurinaitis, Brian Cushing, Brandon Spikes
WR- Jeremy Maclin, DHB
CB-Vontae Davis, Alphonzo Smith, Dominique Johnson (Major Sleeper), Darius Butler
OT- Eugen Monroe
DT- Terrence Cody

I still think Ozzie is gonna trade up into the 10-15 range and take the best WR/CB available

I knwo Robinson is a guard but as it says i believe he will be an elite right tackle in this league
Also Michael Johnson is a top 10 prospect, no way he slips to us. selvie may not declare
Monoroe is a to 10 prospect aswell, no way he falls
Terrnce Cody is not declaring, hes already said hes staing, although id love him here too lol
