I AM LEGEND

Coincidence the Mueller Report gets released today?

...and in it..

He finds the NFL had no knowledge. But the Ravens basically knew..

A whole 2 days before our divisional playoff game.

Maybe to remind America how much they hate us just in case they forgot.

What date would you have preferred they released it?

Literally just saw this on NFL network. Seems that we're going to receive ALL the blame. I call bull on the investigation... Totally biased.

Feb 15th?

Whatever ... the world already thinks we're culpable anyway, so whatever.

Precisely the point... there is literally no date this report could have been released that would have been a "good time" for the Ravens.

If we won the SB, and they released it a week later, fans would think they're just trying to "rain on our parade".

And the world thinks the Ravens are culpable mostly because they are culpable. There are certain things we should have done and we didn't, and vice versa. Doesn't mean we contributed to the crime or committed it, but nobody thinks the Ravens organization handled this situation well.

I doubt there is anything in this that could be released or said at this point that would distract the team. So, eh......

Can someone sum up exactly what their findings were especially in regards to the Ravens organization? What does it say we knew, what does it blame us for?

What?

Anytime after the season would've been helpful for not just the Ravens but the NFL.

Says Ravens had detailed account in February of what happened. Didn't say saw video tho.

Not really. There's plenty of other things going on during the offseason... draft, FA, mini-camps, training camps, etc. If they released this report in February or March, it would have been the only topic discussed in sports, because there isn't much else going on at the time.

There's also nothing that will be in this report that people didn't already think or speculate about, so this isn't groundbreaking stuff.

What you're really asking is for an independent party to give preferential treatment to the Ravens and the NFL, by releasing their report at a date that is only beneficial to both of them.

That sort of defeats the purpose of "independence", even though that was in question to begin with.

I don't always agree with skip bayless but this tweet is right on the money

"@RealSkipBayless: Mueller Report says no one at NFL saw in-elevator video. I doubt they tried very hard to get it. Ball wasn't dropped. Never picked up."

However ur one of few that actually thinks this was done in "independence"

All I'm saying is the person they picked to do the investigating was skeptical..and the timing is skeptical...But it's the NFL so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

funny thing is if you read the comments on espn regarding the report everyone is saying goodel paid mueller off lol. back fire.

Same people who think that the NFL rigs football games and that there actually is such a thing as the "Harbaugh doghouse".

O, and 9/11 was a U.S. government-perpetrated attack.

(Insert X-files music here)...

No, actually, I don't. I'm also one of the many who will have learned nothing from this report, nor do I care what it says.

I also know it would have absolutely no impact on a football game in Foxboro on Saturday.

Just read ESPNs entry on this. I'm not seeing where they are giving the NFL a pass and are roasting the Ravens. What it sounds like in this brief synopsis (and I'll be darned if I'm wasting my time reading the entire report) that they are revealing what everyone should already know:

No one saw the video, but should have had a pretty good idea on what it would contain and didn't try very hard to obtain it before it was publicly released.

Turn the page.

Annnnd....  We all knew all of that anyway....  Ozzie had said that Ray told him everything.. So what the heck is the big deal.

I just saw the 2012 AFC champion celebration video; I missed Ray Rice as a player.

Now, onto Foxborough, Let's make the pink lady cry........

Eh, in the report there really wasn't anything that could be pinned on the Ravens other than saying we were given a detailed account of what was on the videos by one of the Atlantic City/Atlantic County cops.  However, that was given over the phone so it really couldn't have been used as evidence at that point as it would basically be hearsay.  Otherwise it basically was that the NFL could have done their due diligence but didn't so any improvements in handling off-field issues is on them, not on the Ravens.

Nothing else to see, let's move on to Saturday

Perfect timing with the Hernandez trial starting tomorrow.

Proof that the justice system hates the Patriots and is trying to distract them ahead of their big game. :P

It will be on NFL TOTAL ACCESS tonight. They really didnt go in to much detail. All they said was the NFL DID NOT see or have access to the second RICE video. ( The elevator clip )

Read the ESPN overview of it and didn't see anything pinning the Ravens. Maybe I missed it. It jives with what the team/NFL said that they didn't do enough or react appropriately and took/are taking steps to stop that from happening again.

Agreed. There's really nothing there that hasn't been forecasted months ago. Moving on...

Absolutely nothing, other than that we should have done more in the investigation, which we already know.

It is absolutely stupid to complain about this report being released, and it is ignorant to think it puts the Ravens at fault.
