Divisional - Baltimore Ravens (11-6) vs. New England Patriots (12-4)

I haven't really watched Browner play too much. What's he like on the speed side of things? I know he's physical, but is there any chance Torrey can roast him?

If so, I like that match up and then Steve Smith getting chippy with Revis. Should be interesting to watch. Gonna keep my eye on Jamie Collins too.

IF Torrey can beat the press at the line, then he can win deep and makes plays/draw flags. That's a big IF with these guys, though.

More likely to draw flags from browner rather than beat him. Browner is very physical and also sticks very close to the wrs trying to make plays he's very stingy. He will give up a few big flags but I prefer that over a soft corner not willing to risk anything and get beat and outmuscled.

Agreed. Torrey is the pass interference king of the league, though. He just needs to get off the line.

I think we are one of the most penalized teams in the league, and browner despite missing 4 games to suspension and I think he rested against the bills in week 17 the most penalized in the league. I honestly see most of torreys yards coming from PI flags and the rest from short gains or getting covered by browner.  I think revis does well with smith as well. With the way both Ds are this season I'd be pretty shocked if this wasn't a black and blue defensive slug fest. The good news is this is the type of heavyweight fight you need in the playoffs to get ready for a tough superbowl opponent like seattle.

If Zuttah cannot handle Wilfork the run game will suffer. Zuttah was consistently pushed into the backfield against Steelers. If Zuttah can play even with Wilfork, Forsett could have a great night. Also, cannot be intimidated by the reputations of Revis and Browner. Staying away from either one will limit what can be done in the passing game. In other words don't allow Revis to have his island. It'll be up to Smith Sr and Torrey to beat them in the one on one battles. Kubiak's schemes to get Torrey and Smith Sr. open will be key. Trips or double stack receivers on Revis' side will force Revis to make decisions. Force Revis to do more than just blanket the WR split wide in the formation. Flood his side of the field. Plays to OD and Gilmore in the middle of the field could very well negate whatever Revis and Browner are doing on the edges. Defensively, it's simple. Ngata, Brandon, Jernigan, McPhee must get that push up the middle to force Brady off his mark. Cannot allow Brady to step up into the pocket. DBs must be in press coverage as Pats likely will have a short passing game strategy to neutralize Suggs and Doom on the edges. Should be a great game. Also do not let Gronk have free releases from the LOS. Rough him up consistently on every play. The winner could very well be determined by which QB gets rattled first or the most. Come on Joe, keep the streak going!

A good thing about Flacco is the fact that I don't think he pays any attention to who is lined up against which receiver. If you're open, you're getting the ball.

yeah, Browner was also quoted this week saying Flacco deliberately underthrows the ball sometimes to draw those flags on purpose, and he'll be on the lookout for that. Our receivers are going to have to beat him over the top.

Any word on whether Hurst moves to RT or Yanda stays there with Urschel at guard, assuming Monroe suits up? I was in favor of keeping Urschel in because I think our pass protection would be better without Hurst in, but now I'm kind of hoping Yanda slides back inside to help with Wilfork and boost the run game.

I haven't heard anything, but I'd prefer Urschel in the lineup over Hurst

But can someone fast escape being stuck to like glue and being roughed around? Penalties flags and swatted passes and cover ups all day is my forecast.

They may play Yanda back in the middle to handle Wilfork...  With Monroe back.

The flags????  they most likely won't be on Torrey....  more likely on Browner...  especially if he is "stuck like glue and being roughed around".

You guys remember the play we just missed, I think against the Jags, when we did our typical play action bootleg, but instead of throwing to the guys rolling with him Joe stop and threw deep to the backside where Owen Daniels was going going down the sideline? I'd love to see us try something like that early on, maybe even on the first play with one of our speedsters being the target.

Any news on the RG/RT situation? Urschel at RG scares me for this game, and, with Monroe back, we could slide Yanda back to RG, but that still leaves Hurst at RT. Hurst scares me. I pray that he doesn't have to face Chandler Jones too much. Part of me wants to go with a Yanda/Hurst combo instead of Urschel/Yanda. We need more beef in the middle, and it's easier to give Hurst help at RT than it is to give Urschel help at RG.

On the game, I think an early lead is what we need to win. It's tough to come back on the Patriots. They can suck up the clock and kill you with underneath routes and runs. The best way to beat them is to get an early lead and force them to pass it. If we consistently force Brady into deep passing situations, we win.

Yes I meant on browner, their won't be any on torrey but I don't think torrey gains many yards outside of drawing dpi flags.

I'm very happy to see that all of the analysts are picking the Patriots to win.

Don't want anyone to give us a chance.

I'm jealous of the Ravens today, I really feel they are going to go into Foxbough and win a big one and expose the cheaters.  I wish Denver would get the chance but most likely the Ravens will take care of business today and stay on the roll they are on.  Harbaugh and Kubes make a great coaching team and it is going to be a war.
