If he wins on Saturday, he'll be tied for 6th in postseason wins with TROY AIKMAN and ROGER STAUBACH and Peyton, pending Peyton's game on Sunday. That's crazy. He's barely 30.

Love Flacco's mobility tonight, he was moving all over the pocket, avoiding rushers, and that rollout touchdown throw to Torrey was just a thing of beauty. Keep it rolling Flacco dont stop now

Ahh....

http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Byrne-Identity-The-Bigger-The-Stage-The-Better-Flacco-Performs/c795bab1-314a-4d72-93f9-d445db94fbdc

Next week, he will set the record for the most career playoff starts (15) in a quarterback’s first seven seasons. He’ll also become the first quarterback in NFL history to start playoff games in six of his first seven seasons.

Not the most glamorous at first glance, til you really think about it :)

Flacco has a record 7 career playoff games with at least 2 pass TDs and no picks (Brady and Montana have 6).

Joe Montana (0-2), Tom Brady (0-2), Peyton Manning (2-3), Ben Roethlisberger (0-3...0-4 now ;) ), Aaron Rodgers (0-3), and Drew Brees (0-3) are a combined 2-17 when their defense allows 30+ points in the post-season.  Joe is currently 2-1.

Joe was an absolute stud yesterday. Give props where it's due, he played a efficient game. I was cringing when we went 3&out right from get go, thinking "here we go again, another no show until 2nd half". But no, every player on offense composed themselves and got their elements back in the game and started playing at a aggresive/blistering pace, with no fear.

Of course, give the props to our D. Great assignment by our secondary, every one of them (even cason! When Melvin was out) and front D...5 SACKS most of it from 1st half giving Ben a major funk all evening.

Well, on the odd chance that the Ravens win the next two games, Flacco will have more road playoff wins than any other current quarterback. He's tied with Brady and someone else right now at 7.

Flacco already has the road playoff victory record, by two games now. Eli is second with 5.

January Joe might have to pony up for a trip to Hawaii for Mosely if his play costs him a pro bowl appearance, and I'm sure all parties will be satisfied if that is the case.

Seriously. As said every year players would rather play the sb than bet that trip to hawaii anyway

I missed that. I guess we'll be there either way, then. Just depends what week our pro bowlers have to suit up.

What if he wins two Superbowls without going to the Pro Browl? :D

I'm sure this has happened before (maybe not by a QB), but has any player ever won Super Bowl MVP twice without making a Pro Bowl? Should the Ravens play well enough to get that far, I could definitely see that happening.

No non-QB has even won Superbowl MVP more than once. Starr, Bradshaw, Montana, Brady, and Eli Manning are the only multiple Superbowl MVP winners, and all of them made a Pro Bowl before their second.

He played with heart yesterday, which reminded me of two seasons ago. I loved when he said after the game that in the playoffs it is different then the regular season because if you don't win you go home and you have to really step it up and play to win. He seems to understand that better than most. I can't wait to see him next Saturday!
