Good game from Darian Stewart

I'm going to make a seperate topic, because he's gotten a ton of grief this season.  But he may have been one of our 4 best defenders.

Stewart saved a touchdown by covering a lot of ground and hitting Brown out of bounds before he could get both of his feet down. His blitz up the middle pressured Roethlisberger and led to him throwing a poor pass directly to Suggs for the fourth-quarter interception. Stewart then essentially sealed the win with an interception in the end zone.

I just mentioned that in the Steelers thread, but Stewart had a great game. It was probably the best I've seen from him all year. He really played excellent.

definitely right and it also shows how good our secondary coach has been as well because our secondary overall played great last nite. Matt Elam even had his most  and  he tackled alot better as well

Props to Elam, but it was funny seeing him start to run that INT on that 2 pt conversion back.

Dont want to hijack this but just have to mention melvin as well, huge of him to get that possible neck injury but find out hes okay and comes right back in. I love this kid but secondary played huge. Also that hit by Hill on wheaton, thatll scare some guys going over the middle

Yeah I saw him actually wrap up tonight which almost lead to a 4th down stop, good job by him.

Yea Stewart played well and I think people(myself included) may be wrong about Elam come next season. He's really progressing even though in limited action. I saw him wrap up for the first time and he showed a lot of awareness on the 2 point int.
