I should mention that a few guys that don't get much credit but are great are akeem ayers and johnaton casillas who we traded for this year for late round picks. Both have nice push rushing abilities and are hard workers and decent tacklers. Jamie collins at times also fits the bill.

Forgot about Casillas but I did mention Ayers. He's played really well. Bill making people look stupid with that trade.

The one thing that worries me about the PATS is the quick throws. Dink Dunks. which we seem to be suspect at.

We need to take shots at Browner and draw some flags

Actually I hope we limit them to dink and dunks.  Just like we did with the Steelers.  Keep everything in front (don't get beat deep).  Make the Patriots work for every point with long sustained drives.  Clamp down in the redzone.

I'm fine if they get their stats.  Just don't give them any easy points.

The pats arnt like yrs past. That all they really been doing this yr are short to interm passes.

Gronk is healthy this time. Yay

Gronk will present the ultimate test. Good thing guys like Will Hill and Darian Stewert are playing their best. It really helps our Front7 being so dominant, we can keep our safeties in coverage and not have to worry about playing a safety in the box.

I actually like our chances.

From what I'm seeing on other websites patriots fans are saltier than Steelers haha.

That's a legit gripe over Flacco schooling their pretty boy in every playoff game. Even in the one we lost.

I don't like the fact that the national media suddenly is not totally counting us out! They're counting us out, but with a small degree of reluctance having been smacked across the face on their earlier prediction. I hope they begin warming up to Brady and Belichick in a couple of days so they count us out again!

I do not ever want anybody other than the staunchest Ravens fans on our bandwagon!

Their d is as good as it gets. Great pass rush, great secondary, LB can do everything. I'd argue their only defense weakness is the injury bug that hit them. And Gronk is gronk.

Their Pass Rush is a little shaky is so is their Run-D. I feel that we should try to throw slants, screens, and short passes. We have to dominate time of possession!

This Patriots team is a good team, but I can't agree with the statement that it's the best Patriots team, that's why I feel like this team has a shot.

FYI, I'm really getting tired of people bringing up Bell's injury, we were down to our 11th CB or something like that.

It's feels kind of strange that is the first Patriots game between these teams this season.

The Ravens always play better when no one expects them too.

With Chandler Jones back, not so much. Run defense is to a degree. but they got some good thumpers at LB.

It seems like we get flogged whenever I try to make a prediction in these threads, but I think we go down swinging.

I like how our defence matches up against their short passing game, and how our front seven matches up against Brady himself. Get a few hits on, destroy the running game and sit on the short routes, and I think we'll keep the scoreline respectable. Gronk is a tougher ask, but like I say it's been done before. Whack him at the line where possible and get Hill and Cleats Elam to belt him whenever the ball gets close. He's not one of those guys you can take out altogether (like Graham), but I think we can keep him limited enough.

On offence, I'm a bit sketchier with how good they've looked. But if we can keep Joe upright and set up the run, I really like Joe as a postseason QB and there's no reason we can't see more of that. Gillmore and Daniels will obviously be key parts of how we perform, but I think getting a healthy mix of everything to keep them guessing will be the order of the day.

Like I say, I think the Patriots will win this. But I also think we'll make it close and put the cocky bellends on pats.com and those sites on notice (eh, who am I kidding. I thought we'd done that in 2012, but people will find a way to shrug off what we achieve). I don't have a problem with losing respectably, since we've been more or less on bonus money since Jimmy went down.

I can see that happening. I think the teams counter each other pretty well and this is a bit of a rivalry game. I'll give slight advantage to the Pats because of home field advantage. that being said, I'm personally never going to doubt either Joe or Brady in the post season. One of them is going to lead a late game winning drive, I just don't know which one yet.

Yeah, it wouldn't be the biggest upset in playoff history if we won but I think defensively they match up fairly well with us. They're looking good this year (they have more of a playoffs-appropriate build than usual) and our secondary, well...

Like I say, there'd be no shame in losing this one unless they beat us worse than they ever have (no idea what people are going on about when they say we faced them last season. I'm sure I'd have remembered it) with how much we've achieved already. But I think we'll surprise the mainstream media and Patriots fans and lose by one score - maybe the lighter end of two.

Oh so they are Skip baylessing it huh,  Hedging their bets.

LOL Gotta love it.

And to ALL you Pats fans that are trolling this Site, Our 3rd Wr that you dont think we have is Marlon Brown and trust me when i say this, We are very confident in him, all 6'5 215 lbs of him  ( dangerous is an understatement) .  Your secondary cant double all our targets. Lets not forget Kamar Aiken  J.Jones for good measure also ( just dont muff it )

I was trolling the Pats forums and they were trying to do the math with covering all of our targets,  they seemed to have an answer for all of our Targets.LOL, That is,  if we only had 1 T.E. and 2 Wrers. LOL, man , they just dont know.

I hope the refs dont try and rig this game to try and get a Brady/ Manning AFC Champ game

They don't have that kind of power, nor is the risk worth the reward...

Yeah, but still, wear them down.

I don't know what Kub will come up with. But he came up with a great game plan against Pitt, I'm sure him and Harb will think of something, I have faith in both of them.

I'd suspect we would lean on the run game much more than we did vs Pittsburgh. I'd also think in the passing game we would attack the middle of the field more, possibly using the TEs and slot receivers more.

Yeah, I definitely see that as a possibility. This could be Camps game, who knows. They'll need everyone for this game.

The ravens are playing with house money. Enjoy the ride.

I like where the Ravens sit currently.  If we lose, it isn't the end of the world.  We've recently bested the Pats in the playoffs and won the SB, just demoralized the Steelers this year, and are dealing with a myriad of IR injuries.  A loss would be disappointing for sure, but wouldn't be extremely upsetting.

Meanwhile.  The Patriots have a ton of pressure to win.  Imagine if they get knocked out by the Ravens? Fully healthy, 1st seed.  Tom Brady's window is closing.  Imagine how upsetting that would be. Salty Steelers fans wouldn't even compare from what we'd see from the Pats fans.

If there is one thing Suggs hates more than the Steelers it is Tom Brady. I am so much looking forward to that matchup

So true. And to add the fact that no team comes remotely close to our playoff winning percentage (except the 2nd Packers who have been in the league almost 30 years more than us). A Ravens win or loss - we're still decades ahead of the Patriots and we simply own them in the playoffs. That's a beautiful thang.

We win again. GO Ravens!
