Oh look, another Patsie has joined our forum.  Welcome!

I was just looking @ PatsFans reading the Ravens Steelers thread, and while you guys are appropriately worried about facing us, all I see if complete disrespect and trash talk from most of your fans.

You are in the wrong thread:

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/were-on-to-baltimore.1114706/

You also refer to trash talk with a lot of hypocrisy.  You posted twice in this thread (before the quoted post above), and both posts were of trash talk.

And regarding the "another patsie" comment, if you don't want to read the posts of visitors, then please place us on ignore.

To add some actual value to this post:

One of the keys to the Ravens defense in this game will be to hit Edelman early and often.  He's a small receiver but receives the most receptions of any one player.  He's an outlet receiver who averages ~10 yards per catch, which includes YAC.  So if the front 7 of the Ravens wants to be impactful, they need to chip him and hit'm hard on every play and reception.

House money. Go hard or go home. I must admit I was wrong. Said we didn't deserve playoffs, but to play spoiler to another Pats run would be very pleasing.

I've never read anything like this in this forum about any team, real classy.  smh

Ravens primer

City of Baltimore: filthy, blighted, crime-ridden hell hole.

Steve Bisciotti (owner): slimy, unethical, disingenuous turdball.

John Harbaugh: insufferably smug, smirking, histrionic dope.

Terrelle Suggs: detestable, woman-beating, Halloween freak.

Steve Smith: lippy, self-aggrandizing, snot-nosed punk.

Joe Flacco: homely, insecure, penalty-baiting dope.

Elvis Dumervil: stupid, dirty, money-grubbing miscreant.

I'm sorry I have to post this. To the gentleman that made the arrogance thread. It was locked in the middle of my writing it. It was too creative to not post....

Yes, that is true. But against weaker competition than the

Patriots played. Ben put up 6 TD's inn the second game. How many is Brady going to put up? Just remeber, the playoff game was against a team with no running game.

Buddy, don't come trolling to essentially say, don't say about the Ravens, what you are saying about the Pats. Antonio Brown was a monster this year and we held him to practically nothing all game. So please, do not believe that the patriots are just going to annihilate us. It'll be a much closer game than you think. The Pats didn't fare so well against top flight competition either. Didn't they lose to the Dolphins this season? Please don't make excuses for your team being better than Pitt because they played "weaker competition" when NE plays the AFC East and their incredible lineup of Elite teams. First we have the New York Jets. Man they should've been 12-4 with that stout looking Offense. I can't believe the Pats survived the shootouts they had with Geno Smith. Let's move on to the Miami Dolphins. The Fins always play the Pats hard and it's expected that they spilt their season wins. That Miami defense gave the league nightmares except for Tom Lady. He is the only one that I would trust to play a nail biter against Miami. Finally, The Buffalo Bills. Calling a QB off the couch was a thing of brilliance. Kyle Orton was almost Manning-esque this entire season. They were my dark horse to win the whole thing.

Looking at their division, I have to say, they played some top flight NFL competition and manhandled them this season. I pray our boys can put up 3pts against Kill Bills juggernauts. I'm going to pray for us to win right now and all week because only a miracle will carry us to victory next weekend.

Selective attention on your part.

Added value portion of the post:

There's been a dramatic difference in the NEP O-line when Connolly is in at left guard and when he is not.  Watch for this at the beginning of the game and throughout, since lately he's been hurt.  This will be very impactful if Ngata and company don't have to deal with one of the more consistent, stable performers on the NEP O-Line.

all im saying is people need to realize our weakness is going to be exploited by the pats if we dont fix it.plain and simple our secondary is bad,and brady is a master at his game.and it dont help when players shoot off their mouth and fuel the fire.

Because it would be removed if posted. WE don't allow that here.

3rd and long. 3rd and long. 3rd and long. Keep them at 3rd and long and we should win. Brady cannot move like Ben. We contain the runs, keep everything in front and we have a chance. Offense needs to come to play, buy I trust Flacco will have a good game. On offense I'm looking at Aiken, OD and Gilmore to be productive, with maybe Steve Smith being used int rhe slot at times. Getting Jernigan back for this game would be huge for the penetration he gets in the middle.

Dude, many of us are saying the same thing.  The difference here is in the way you're saying it.

A master? Just like he was in 2012??

I also think in a physical contest like this that from a physicality standpoint both GRONK and BLOUNT are on the field at the same time and are nearly impossible to tackle when the ball is in their hands.. that will wear a defense down, both guys are like freight trains or 18 wheelers and require multiple tacklers to get to the ball... takes the air and energy out of a defense...Then pound some more with the powerful Jonas Gray who knows nothing but north and south.  The physicality of New England is NFC West like.. especially with a healthy Sebastian Vollmer, Dan Connolly, and Bryan Stork who when healthy honestly and absolutely dominated the best fronts in the National Football League.  Punch and Power New England smashmouth team this season.

Patriots front seven is actually pretty good. I think Wilfork, Chris Jones make a really good team. Still mad we didn't pick him up when the Texans cut him. They also have Chandler Jones and Ayers, who are both two very talented pass rushers. I have to say they have decent MLB play but Collins is a good player, make no mistake there. Then their secondary is also really talented. I'd expect Torrey to be covered by Browner with Revis on Sr. It could go either way, though. Also, don't forget McCourty who's a beast of a FS.

I think their weakness is on offense, despite it actually being good. Tom is working with a rather lackluster WR corps, though he still has Gronkowski and that's an x factor. Their OL has holes, however, so if we can exploit them we can win.

I ultimately think we'll turn the ball over in this game. I don't feel good about Joe going without a turnover here when he's facing this kind of secondary. Hopefully we limit the turnovers to one. This game is certainly in our grasp though. I do think we present the toughest matchup for the Patriots of any team left.

Agreed entirely.

Unfortunately the bolder part the most..... I freaking hate saying this but Joe is due to throw one.

rushing only four will not work against the pats, and giving the receivers a 10 yard cushion is going to allow for easy opportunities for them to pick us apart.ive seen it time and time again

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that I was only allowed to look at select threads in order to not see Patriots fans trash talking...guess I'll just have to completely ignore that other thread where you're all talking crap.

And my two other posts in this forum were hardly trash talk...one was from last night celebrating our win and saying that your team is probably scared (on PatsFans most of the posters were rooting for the Steelers to win), the other was a GIF of Brady getting dominated by Doom, which is possibly the greatest GIF of all time.  If your threshold for trash talk is so low, its incredibly hypocritical for you to be talking about how much "respect" we're getting on PatsFans.

As for me ignoring you, I don't want to do that.  I enjoy input from fans of our opponents because I generally haven't watched too many games where they are playing.  That being said, if you come in here and talk about how great Patriots fans are, we're probably going to call you out because we don't like most Patriots fans.  We don't have to like each other to have a (fairly) civil discussion and I'm a negative, sarcastic person so if you're looking for me to give you a bouquet of roses for stating your opinion you've come to the wrong fella.

If Tom gets #4, believe this, he'll want #5.

What's funny about this is Brady could already have five if he didn't choke #ShotsFired

We've owned the Patriots in the Playoffs, but we'll always be the underdogs in the eyes of everyone else. No problem. We love being the Under Dog.

As history will chronicle, the Ravens only took less than 20 years of existence to win 2 Super Bowls while the Patriots took nearly 60 years to win 3 Super Bowls (none after Spy Gate). Not to get into a pointless debate about 'Patriots' greatness (all in the eye of the beholder - same as the Ravens) - I resubmit: We are just getting started, but there aren't any SB winning franchises in the past 5 years (including whoever wins this year) that have more of an opportunity to become that next Dynasty (2008 through 2018) than the Ravens.

You've never played a Patriots team like this, quit acting like this is the same Patriots team you played before

All these guys coming on here acting as though us fans are being senseless when we show support and hope for our team are ridiculous. So we can't show excitement and optimism after a great game?

Being a fan of another team and coming here to talk football is one thing, but to act like we're all crazy and cocky just because we believe we can win is outlandish.

I know the Patriots are great, perhaps as good as they have been in a decade or so. But I also know my Ravens are tough and capable of doing some great things. I believe we can win. I'm ready to watch them play right now. Let's go!

whether you like him or not brady is a great qb that willl take advantage of weak coverage.

I think our fans have a healthy respect for YOUR teams quarterback. That doesn't mean we can't have confidence in our own quarterback and team in there abilities. Your aware this is a Baltimore raven fan forum and not a patriots forum right ?

My concern for this game is zuttah  he got beat several times last night . and Gronk of course.
