Ray was horrible in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago . He was getting beat like a drum .I

I agree, he was actually hurting us. Same with Ray Rice.  Bernard Pierce had a really good game against N.E.

Flacco isn't anywhere near mobile enough to force the Patriots out of playing man to man like Rodgers was.  The CB's will be in press man coverage throughout the game, so don't expect to hear much out of Steve Smith as he'll be paying a visit to Revis Island.  Browner will be beating the hell out of Torrey Smith (who tends to mail it in against more physical corners) at the LOS while McCourty will provide help on deep routes.  Arrington will cover whomever lines up in the slot.  Since we'll probably show mostly single high safety, Chung will be in the box almost exclusively either trading off with Collins and covering the TE's or providing assistance in run support.  Further, our run defense is pretty damn good too now that Wilfork has regained his form and Siliga is healthy, so Forsett shouldn't be expected to put up good numbers either.  In all, you have to hope our OL has trouble in pass protection because I don't see the Ravens putting up more than 17 points in this game.

It's a mistake to take the highest net + score to mean that PFF is saying that you have the best defense. PFF grades on a play by play basis, and have noted in the past that the nature of this causes certain positions to have a higher variance in grading than others. By nature of having a front 7 dominated defense rather than a back 7 dominated defense your score is going to trend higher. PFF doesn't use coaches tape, so it's extremely difficult to accurately grade a secondary vs. a front 7. PFF isn't saying that the Broncos defense is better than Seattle's because it's grade is higher. It's simply a collection of play by play grades.

One perhaps two mental mistakes at the most inappropiate time negates all stats. I'm saying that for our benefit not theirs.

i can't take another one of those.

With Pollard, we knew that he was "The Patriot" killer.  I'm really wondering who on our defense will be "that" or "those" guy(s) today?

Let's goooooo!

GO RAVENS!
