That's the bottom line. When Flacco is your QB, it matters little who your opponent is, you always have a chance to win. When January Joe is on the field, well...it's all over but the cryin'

+1 for coining January Joe!

If monroe can come back, do you guys think we keep urschel at right guard and yanda at right tackle? I think that is much better than yanda at guard and hurst at right tackle as I think Urschel is better at guard than hurst is at tackle but I'm sure the coaches will make the right call either way

Manning has our number though. If it wasn't for the mile high miracle, Ravens would've been like 0-100 against him. On the other hand Ravens have always had success vs Brady, even in 07 when they had that record setting offense with Moss and we were a terrible team I think with Boller. I don't think this game is going to be easy, but definitely like our chances better vs Pats too

As I said, the Pats and Broncos are beatable. I'm saying there is a chance, or by Luck, no pun intended the Colts could beat the Bengals, then the Broncos before facing us in the AFC Championship game. So we might not have to play Manning this year.

I'd say yea so they can keep it somewhat consistent.. Better than having a rookie jump from LT to RT inbetween games

Like I said before Ravens beat up the squeers " magic happens when the Ravens put on the White jerseys and black pants on the road as Underdogs!" Keep the magic on a roll on the road!!!!

I can't see why we would change that side up.  We didn't hear Urschel or Yanda's name at all tonight.  They were beyond solid.  I still think I trust Monroe (if healthy) more than Hurst.  I know Harrison has been great as of late, but Chandler Jones is a different dynamic pass-rusher.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we win this one. That said, if we lose, I will be gracious; it really doesn't get better than beating Pittsburgh. Still, would be great to beat Tom Brady and the Pats, too.

I like our chances more than most. The Patriots record at home is ridiculous, very few teams beat them in Foxborough (especially in the playoffs), but us. We shut down Antonio Brown, arguably the best WR this season.

They don't have a comparable WR, but they do have Gronk. However, with Mosley/Smith and a combination of Safeties we can neutralize Gronk for the most part.

This game falls on the offense and if we can avoid the turnovers. Control the clock, score points, and we're heading to the AFC Championship game.

Brady only played a half a game in their season finale loss to the Bills. I wonder if we have the advantage of playing and not sitting around so long? Just a thought.

Definitely could happen.. They could come out rusty and slow... We should be fresh and loose

Who knows though

best part about this is we're doing it without ray lewis and ed reed so we can shut the media up. I thought the Ravens had no leadership left...then i remembered we still had suggs, and ngata, and yanda, and webb, and flacco

We're already 7.5 point underdogs going into NE.

Well that didn't take long at all lol

I don't want to get blown out though. I can take a loss (really don't want one though) just not an embarrassment.

I think we take this one though.

Put pressure on Brady and keep Gronk under wraps are keys to success. Pats D is a lot better than Steelers though. It's gonna be tough.

So who can fill me in on what the Patriots front seven is like? Are they usually better or worse than Pitt at applying pressure?

Mediocre pass rush but excellent corners is really all you need to know.

Same gameplan, hit Brady early and often and we will win. He will crumble under pressure, and he won't avoid sacks like Ben.

Win

This game, I see the defense shining and Joe catching his stride. Brady has root feet and wull struggle with the pressure we bring. Should be interesting though. I see Aiken getting more reps this game and trying to avoid Revis. The TES should get more action as well.

If we get good pressure up the middle again, I feel a lot more confident about this game.

Make brady move east/west

Hopefully we can get Jernigan back this game. Probably our best bet in getting pressure up the middle. Would be a nice boost.

Is it still too early to call Urschel a steal? For a fifth round pick, he's played really well starting in the o-line. Plus, just the Ravens have won every game he's started in

They're both old now and nearing retirement age. Hopefully we make him feel his age next weekend

I have a feeling Manning and Brady are going to keep playing for one more ring. They are both at that age now where if either of them gets one more ring, they would retire after winning the Super Bowl.

Pitta would be huuuuge in this game, considering the corners NE has now, Pitta would eat up their LBs.

People don't want to say it but I guess I have to.

Pats may not have stout run d but their secondary is vastly improved. The reason we dispatched Pittsburgh easily was because we were a more talented football team(outside of WR). And the WR deficiency did not matter because Melvin and Webb and hill etc were excellent and the steelers secondary was not impressive.

In this game I see us having the edge or tie in most of the positions outside of Gronk and Revis.

I think we can contain gronk like we did with graham using Hill. I have more faith in containing lafell and Edelman on the outside than brown and Bryant. Probably Webb on Edelman and Melvin on lafell.

I think the steelers o(even without bell) is better than the pats. So our defense should win.

Our offense might have a tough sledding. Id feel a lot worse if the pats have JJ watt but they don't. Instead with revis and browner, they present the ability to press the smiths and stack the box.

That could kill our offense. We can run the ball on these guys but not against 8 or 9 man fronts. I think Steve gets revis and might get 3 balls or so. But to really win and get the offense going( especially without pitta) we need torrey to ball out and camp/Aiken/brown to get receptions as well.

It's kind of like the chargers game. They put flowers on smith and bang he was gone.torrey had two tds in that game(of course against shareece wright). This also reminds me of Denver 2012. They had champ and Chris Harris. They had boldin strapped with Harris and Torrey killed bailey. He had two tds in that game as well.

Torrey's performance in this game for me really determines if he will be back next season.id rather pay McPhee than pay a guy money to disappear against above average competition.

Note: if we had our full healthy squad( pitta jimmy) I'd say we win this game no doubt mainly because of the match up problem pitta presents and how Jimmy's ability to shut down a side of the field let's us bracket gronk all game. Bodes well for another run next year :)

We won't be able to pass like we did tonight. I think our d line get better pass rush than it did tonight and it played very well. Its going to be rough moving the ball. We're going to have to make every possession count

This will be a huge game for Torrey, he'll be going up against the best CB in the league in Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner is no slouch. I think this could have an impact on him next season. Also, we need Steve Smith Sr. to come up and utilize and many WR's as possible, this New England secondary is no joke.

Two most important things:

-Run the ball! New England is a good run team but are shady in some aspects. Miss and match, it could even require Joe to run out the pocket and take off some times, that's how good they are. They also have the ability to mix-match and basically confuse the mess out of you. They've shown this season that they're vulnerable on the ground.

Forsett fumbled, but I think in the long run, it'll help him do a better job at protecting the ball in big games, I think he'll bounce back against the Patriots, the O-Line played great against a good Pittsburgh Front line, I'm not convinced that this Patriots front line is better than the Steelers.

-PRESSURE TOM BRADY! Ryan Clarke said it best, when under pressure, he sees Ghosts! He isn't mobile so you don't have to worry about him taking off, but if you can get there in time and at least get in his face, that Patriots team will look like the one we saw in the beginning of the season.

The weapons they have, honestly don't scare me as much as they did in 2011-2012, but Gronk still does, but seeing Will Hill cover TE's it seems like Baltimore will most likely do their best and I'm sure they'll do a fine job. If the Ravens can pound the #2 ranked offense in that fashion at Heinz Field, one of the toughest places to play, than they can do some thing positive at New England.

I know people say momentum doesn't matter, but this team came off defeating their arch nemesis Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field! You have to be able to carry something into next game at the very least!

Remember guys. Giants(9-7) over the Greenbay Packers(15-1)

You never know what'll happen.
