I'm happy we get to play NE instead of going to Denver. Despite NE being the #1 seed. Denver is a tough place to play and they are going to be especially hungry for our blood after last year.

Agreed exactly

This will definitely be a tough game. i'm sure we all know all about Tom Brady and his offensive weapons but i'm worried about their cornerbacks going against our receivers

At least you guys won't fall into a trap game scenario like against the Jets a few years ago. You'll definitely bring your "A" game against us, which might not have happened if you faced the sorry Daltons or something.

We really have no choice in this game but to play A game, I was thinking if we got the colts or the bengals we could almost rest some players but not denver or baltimore. Either way and I could be wrong but I think having a rough duo like revis and browner gives us something we haven't had in a while. Although browner will give away 50 penalties I still like having him cover.

Get ready for some false bravado and arrogance by Pats fans followed by a blank stare and a sigh. They know who knocks.

joe heisenberg?

Gotta be able to run the ball and get the TE's involved. Gonna be hard pushing the ball to Torrey and Steve deep against their CB's.

Defense needs to keep up what they're doing and we're gravy baby

Hitting Brady.. Not turning the ball over and running the ball.

Simple as that against the pats

I don't care man; I just enjoy every bit of Ravens game ever since playoffs start.  Win or Lose I'm happy...If we win, I might need a doctor right next to me, just in case I pass out....

Go Ravens!

Thinking it's gonna be like the 2011 afc championship type of game. 20-17 calibur score.

It's a 60 min ball game....nothing less....

I'm a little concerned by the fact that the Ravens have only beaten one quality team this year. Thankfully, Tom Brady has been looking a little Manning like in recent post-seasons.

Agreed. This Pats D is better than any Pats D the Ravens have faced before, so I'd throw the past outcomes out the window (much like what happened with the Steelers tonight). I also don't think the Ravens have beaten the Pats with a healthy Gronk, and I'm pretty sure we have no one who can stop him- not Mosley, not Hill. If Joe "Montana" Flacco shows up though, we always have a chance.

We beat two teams that were still playing today, and one of them twice.

Hill did exceptionally well on Graham earlier this year.. Hopefully he can repeat that performance

Yeah, I guess I should have said "one team with a winning record" instead, but you make a good point.

Yea, its really about how Brady plays.  He's had some stinkers in the playoffs recently.  The Pats have done a great job of limiting sacks this year.  But our D-line is playing pretty dominant of late.  That will be the matchup to watch.

So who can fill me in on what the Patriots front seven is like? Are they usually better or worse than Pitt at applying pressure?

They're both old now and nearing retirement age. Hopefully we make him feel his age next weekend

Honestly, both are tough but are beatable. We've beaten them both in the playoffs before, in their own stadiums and both are stumbling into this year's playoffs. The Jets, who had nothing to play for almost beat the Patriots in week 16. The Broncos stumbled, and even lost to LOLton and the Bengals.

I was just sitting here thinking, it could be Ravens vs Colts in the AFC Championship game.

Manning has our number though. If it wasn't for the mile high miracle, Ravens would've been like 0-100 against him. On the other hand Ravens have always had success vs Brady, even in 07 when they had that record setting offense with Moss and we were a terrible team I think with Boller. I don't think this game is going to be easy, but definitely like our chances better vs Pats too

I would say the Steelers can get better pressure (despite NE having more sacks in the regular season).  But the Patriots are much better in the secondary and getting 'coverage sacks'.

The Pats have Chandler Jones probably back at 100%.

Overall I think we can hold up aginast their front 7.  Need to have playoff Oline and playoff Joe in full form though.

We played great tonight, but let's not forget who stands before us next week, coming off two weeks rest. Won't be easy.

There will be lot of film watching @Foxborough. They can't be feeling too comfortable seeing our pass rush. Tom will need a leather skirt.

That's the bottom line. When Flacco is your QB, it matters little who your opponent is, you always have a chance to win. When January Joe is on the field, well...it's all over but the cryin'

Thanks for filling me in. I hope the Ravens o-line is ready.

I wonder if Eugene Monroe will play in that game.
