Wild Card Post-Game: Steeler's G3

I bet the Ravens go farther then us this year. My pack will probably lose to Seattle.

Ravens are tied for first in nfl history with pack in regards to post season road wins. Not bad for a franchise that has been around for a mere twenty years.

Suggs played one of the best games of his life! Flacco was on point for most of the game, and as much as our running game faltered at time's KO and Yanda are a steady force that can get it done against anybody. Im just one happy Ravens fan! Ecstatic to be able to play another week! #BallSoHardUniversity! Lets go Ravens!

I copied the sentence in quotations from nfl network website, I didn't even realize that an undrafted rookie never started at LT in a playoff game. And he played a very solid game. Ravens have found another undrafted gem. "Harrison was heads up on the first undrafted free agent rookie to start a game at left tackle in NFL playoff history"

Yes we do. Gronk is the Pats scariest weapon, but the burgeoning Will Hill has proven his ability to make plays and cover TE's 1 on 1 all game.

He's the answer for Gronk.

Curious to know, why did Rodgers not throw it to Sherman's side? Was that coaching? Or was that on him?

Seen that. You guys deserve it. Baltimore is the better team under adversity.

Stewart had two huge plays tonight. First, pushing Bryant out of bounds in the end zone when he would have landed for score and Second, the INT in the end zone. Proud of how he played.

That would make me sick. I actually like the Packers and I can't stand to hear the talk about Russell Wilson being elite.

It's really remarkable, I feel like I didn't even recognize the team that played tonight. That was our most complete performance on both sides of the ball since September. Unbelievable.

The season has been a complete success. I could ask for nothing more than the joy I have been given this night. Everything that comes after this is just gravy. Hell, we could lose by 60 in Foxborough on Saturday and I'd still be sitting here with this same smile.

It's beautiful, it's just too beautiful.

Same, I can't deal with Seattle. Players are obnoxious too.

Richard Sherman absolutely rules but their fan base is all kinds of irritating.

I can't recall the last time that I've witnessed a very good game by all 3 vs a good team.

The block punt and fumble were the only glaring miscues that I saw.

Oh I forgot to mention - World's shot at Gilmore.

Was ticked - then had to laugh. Gilmore's head hardly moved from the punch and he just looked at him like "is that all you got? Thanks for the 15 yds man!"

Don't know how he was not ejected. Ridiculous.

Apparently, rule book says open hand swing/slap is 15y only.

I have one question if anyone can shed some light regarding the concussion protocol. When Ben went out of the game with what looked to me an obvious hit to the head when his head hit the ground. I thought that when it is anything remotely considered a possible head injury that there was a protocol where third party doctors needed to clear the player to come back? Yet Ben only missed about 4 plays and looked to me to only be observed by team doctors. Am I missing something? Did they follow proper nfl rules regarding this or did they not consider that a possible concussion. I thought it was pretty obvious that it could have been a concussion. I really don't care but I'm just curious.

The penalty with 12 men on the field was pretty stupid but other than that solid I guess.

Jacoby didn't do too good returning though.

Dom mcraven yeah I am pretty sure we avoided Sherman. If we play them again I would throw right at em. To be the best you have to beat the best.

Yeah that's where I was getting at. I found it comical for Sherman to pretend that he's yawning for being "bored."

His shoulder hit the ground at the same time and absorbed the brunt of the impact. Turned out he was looked at for neck injury, not concussion (Ben confirmed that in a presser).

I have always believed that the Steelers have had one of the shadiest medical staffs in the NFL. that was the fastest concussion protocol I've ever seen.

I understand it's an independent neurologist (if it even got that far), but something doesn't seem right.

I still remember emember that one year when Ward was clearly concussed and they called it a 'knee injury'. Back on the field he went.

You didn't really keep your main wrs on Sherman though. For the most part, wasn't Cobb in the slot and Nelson on the other side that game?

Just do the league a favor. If the Lions can't knock off the Cowboys, make sure you do.
