Wildcard Round (Other Teams)

773 posts in this topic

That's what I said. I think Arizona screwed themselves by not grabbing a veteran FA QB to play for them. There is no excuse for going into the PLAYOFFS with your third stringer 6th round QB that has barely done anything in his games.

It's sad how Tim Tebow was a better option than Lindley but Arizona never even called or at least gave him a tryout. Even with Tebow, it would have been a better situation for them.

This now 8-8-1 team is acting like they won a national championship against a team fielding a practice squad QB

Who cares? Let em be happy.

Fewest yards of total offense in postseason history for Arizona. Pretty much sums up the game

In fairness, have they even been to the postseason enough times for a stat like that to even be significant?

they were prancing around like they won the super bowl. I'd be pissed if I was a panther fan. It's like they've made the promised land already.

Too easy to call, with palmer they are a different beast. Need to draft well next year to go on a real run for the cards.

That is what I meant to say, otherwise I wouldn't have said in postseason history lol

Eh, maybe, but football is a game, isn't it? Supposed to be fun, right? It's not a game for boring straights who live life with a poker face.

no, but you can tell they haven't been around here before. I think with this defense they could trouble seAttle and others. But I'm not sure they are there mentally, esp cam to make a run this year.

Or maybe his obnoxious personality clouds my judgement.

I agree that they might not be there mentally, but there's nothing wrong with celebrating a win.

I do think they get destroyed next week.

I want to see Cincy for the AFC champ

I hope you're right. An AFCN battle for the AFC Championship at Paul Brown Stadium. That would be sweet.

But,, knowing playoff Dalton,, and not having AJ Green and Gresham today might be asking too much. We'll see.

Man, if we take out Pitt, NE and Cincy in the same postseason I won't be able to speak for months, regardless of the Superbowl result. My voice will be so lost I'll need to put up posters.

Amazing how happy and relaxed I am preparing to watch these games today. I wonder why that is...

Yes, and I bet there is a big grin still on your face.  How sweet is a win on the road in the playoffs?  Keep it up, Ravens.  I feel some loyalty to Chuck P but am fine with either team winning as the outcome.  Which other two teams join the Elite Eight today?  So proud that our Ravens are there.
