Darren Sanders accused of sexual offense

The sad thing about cases involving sex us that people tend to always be against the man, even if found innocent plus it DESTROYS your reputation. While he's been found guilty it's likely that many people will always feel uncomfortable around him and it'll be pretty hard for him to get a job.

Was thinking the exact same thing

So what happens now that he is not guilty? Does he counter sue? Does the young lady lose her job?

Of course not because if they do that, that might encourage other women not to come out with their sexual assaults

Not my words, feminists words

Not always true...   That's being pretty presumptuous.  That being said, if he's found not guilty, he will move onward.  Once found innocent ethically, the organization would not be allowed to penalize him in any way.   She would most likely quit her job.  I would say that it's not viewed the same anymore.  Perfect example might be a situation like Roethlisburger.  He came back and didn't skip a beat.  He is innocent...  period.

The NFL is still doing its independent investigation. Had a rep there throughout the trial.

Unfortunately the background check and clearance criteria are much different for a security person and a star NFL QB. Something like this could disqualify a him from consideration for many positions.

Let me re-word that...  Yes, he will undergo additional scrutiny, and could possibly face difficulty in the foreseeable future for this accusation.  If it's not true, it's a shame.  It shouldn't be a part of any criteria or allowed as part of any position consideration..  It shouldn't even show up on a background check or a clearance report. It's "feminist" women who will demand equality on every level, but will refuse to admit that they are not equal in some aspects.  They/we are, indeed, at a Physical disadvantage.  If this truly is a false accusation, it's one of the things that really ticks me off.  Because it is a ploy used often to exploit that physical disadvantage.  It's just not right.

Let me chime in on this due to my other job. On the subject of security clearances, it does matter and it is considered to an extent because you need to look at it like this: how's his decision making? If be put himself in a position for this to happen, how could he affect our interests with a clearance?

This is a significant piece of the equation.

I get that...  I do.  Question might be...  Did he?  or did she?  Did he offer to walk her to her car, (for safety reasons) and absolutely nothing happened... We may never know that.  I was thinking I was sounding cliche' here... but maybe she was the one that was inappropriate.  I tend to play devil's advocate often... Then again, he is penalized.

Hey, I don't disagree and I'm sorta just dropping facts here. There are a lot of double standards out there affecting men and women differently.

Just because he was found NOT guilty doesn't mean it didn't happen. Just saying...

Too many side shows. Too many investigations...
