Hah, truth. Living in the past is right, and thats not a generalization. 99% of Steelers fans you talk to "Oh the Stairway to 7" this and that ... get over it, you won 4 SB's in the 70s before half your fan base was even born.

Yeah but bringing up Art Modell (which brings back memories of some of the things they were saying around there when he died, which I just couldn't believe) and the 70s Raiders?  Like was that guy even alive for any of it?  I really don't recall us bringing up Steelers factoids from the 70s, unless it's the fact that they seem obsessed with their 70s teams.

One major difference. We don't go bragging about our past and we live in the now, and considering the draft thread we also live in the future. 

 

Ravens Win: We move on and begin discussing our game against the Patriots. 

 

Steelers Win: Yeah we'll be angry but we'll move on and begin discussing the off-season/draft.

 

Steelers Lose: They will go back to bragging about 6 rings until next season to cover up for their loss in the current season.

I still don't know why they call Suggs a dirty player. It's kind of funny too, the person who called Suggs a dirty player isn't even on their team anymore.

They love Ryan Clark and Hines Ward who are the definition of dirty players and cheap shot artists who would specifically try to hurt guys. Clark was always head hunting and making disgustingly dangerous hits with the crown of his helmet. Ward was infamous for targeting defenseless players that were no where near the play.. only served him right that the last time we saw him he was unconscious on the turf from a Ray Lewis hit, poetic justice.

 

The double standard is hilarious.. Upshaw is "dirty" for cleanly blasting Ben out of his boots yet they turn the other cheek to Tomlin tripping Jacoby and Mike Mitchell who is one of the biggest punks in the entire NFL. Can you seriously imagine what they would be saying if Harbaugh tripped one of their players? They're flat out delusional.
