Texans have rolled into the burgh and won, right?

We got Kubiack, jones, and forsett...we should be okay.

No. I watched that MNF affair and Houston couldn't beat Pittsburgh in their house.

In any case, we'll be all right, assuming that Forsett is healthy enough to go, because (and as people already mentioned on here) that he's pretty banged up. Of course, Jacoby will rip through on Special Teams and I think he'll be a key component in this Wild Card game.

I think Harrison's game against us was sort of a fluke if you will. He really hasn't done much of anything since then, and I think he's visibly wearing down after nearly a full season.

Gotcha, makes sense. He was probably really fresh that game, and now the old age has caught back up to him.

Agreed about it being sort of fluky.  But he does always seem to find the fountain of youth (or a fresh injection) against us.  And our O-Line is hurtin'.  Pittsburgh pass rush isn't very scary.  But our makeshift O-line must hold up.

Not liking our post season history at Heinz Field but on the positive side, this team has never lost a playoff road game. So on to Pittsburgh and come away with a win.

What are you talking about? You said they never lost a road playoff game, immediately after acknowledging their playoff failures in Pittsburgh

This game will most likely come down to which coaches will make the better adjustments and which players can execute new adjustments in a short week. Every team is banged-up by this week and 90% of the playbooks have already been seen - so now is the time where coaching will be the difference maker. I think our coaches and players will make the better adjustments.

Patriots no...been there done that...

Colts yes...they are "the team to beat"

...I find the no responses because we afraid we'll lose interesting...how about playing the toughest team, then the Ravens can prove themselves to be real champions...

The real champion is who ever goes home with the ring.  Doesn't matter what path you take.  There is nothing wrong with taking the path of least resistance.

I feel no matter what your gonna have to play a team that is gonna be hard to beat. 2012 I thought we took the hardest path and you know what? I'm sure the players could care less who is in the way this year. Bring on the Steelers.

You do know this makes no sense??  Lee Evans and Billly Cundiff wish this were true!! The Ravens have lost EVERY playoff road game vs Pittsburgh.

Yes: Pittsburgh, c'mon, Ravens and Steelers.

No: Denver, much up really well, too good, great run defense and great pass rush.

Ravens always play hard in New England, they're pass rush is shaky without a healthy Chandler Jones, and their run defense has been a problem for them at times, we match up better against them than Denver.

The mentality is the key to win; it's scary to play against a team with a mentality of nothing-to-lose, especially in playoffs.  We have been down that road before, and we are here to spoil the fun.

When you have a wall in your back, there is no where to go but going all forward.  We have tons of players with that experience on our team, and we will make the media and naysayers pay for disrespecting us....

If we stick to playing physical football we can do great things against them. It will be a close game. I'm excited to see Steve Smith get in Steeler defenders again.

Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff were never on THIS team. I didn't say The Ravens; I said "this team", and this team has never played in a playoff game. This team's slate is clean and looking for its first playoff win this weekend.

Thanks for your comment, sorry you misunderstood.

Yeah, he was a beast that day....  Hopefully this isn't what fuels him....  but Yeah, he's old, and gotta be slowing in Week 18....

I would have loved to pee test him after that game...

OH, and....  how many starters that played in the Super Bowl are on THIS team???  Not many.  Like 8 total on the roster.

Those 8 are well spread in all 3 phases, so they will be important leaders for this run....

I get that, but THIS team is STILL the Ravens and to say this team never won a road playoff game is misleading.  We all know the Ravens have won many road playoffs games. The way it was mentioned, this team only refers to the 2014 Ravens and none of the previous teams.  If you want to define it that way, NO 2014 playoff team has won or lost a playoff game b/c the playoffs haven't started yet.  So yeah semantics.

You may be right but if history has taught us anything the Squeelers ought to ne careful what they

wish for. They say publicly that they're excited to draw us. Nobody, except Ray Lewis, gave us a

chance in 2012 and look what happened. The Ravens should be the last team Spittsbrgh or any of the

other AFC playoff teams wanted to see in the playoffs because of the Flacco factor. It's a new season and Jersey Joe will come out swinging just like Jersey Joe Walcott. Send me in Coach! I'm ready to

play today!!

So, will the Squeelers score more than the Ravens in the playoffs this year? Quoth the Raven, "Never more!!! Ravens will win by a score of 23-17. Happy, happy, happy!!!

Anyone else feel that the Steelers - Ravens rivalry is being rejuvenated with this game?  I know it has lost a little bit of pep over the past couple years, but there is no other team in the AFC that I want the Ravens to beat right now.

Considering that Ray was playing for the team then, I would hope him along w/ his other teammates gave themselves a chance.

Kind of; it is a big deal to help boost it again, but I also feel that the games in 2013 were extremely classic Ravens-Steelers (particularly the Thanksgiving one, of course - one of the best I can remember). Best sports rivalry of the century, without a doubt.

"Le'Veon Bell (knee) reportedly could "barely walk" when spotted at the Steelers facility Monday." per Rotoworld.

With that said, the Steelers passing game still scares the titan out of me but that'd be one huge weapon that we wouldn't have to worry about. I'm just not scared of Harris or Archer in a big time playoff game.

Without Bell, who is their MVP of that team, our defense has much less to worry about. Dump off passes wont be as dangerous i feel now. They have their injured dudes but nobody can beat our IR list this year.
