I'd rather "beat" the Steelers, but I think that is the more difficult matchup for us right now.

Exactly this.

Both teams will be a tough task. I feel like they are both duking it out right now on SNF for the right to face a vulnerable and banged up Ravens squad on their home turf. Our offense has had problems for a while now and our defense has been beatable due to injurys. Our only hope to beat the winner of tonights game is to win on offense and hope our pass rush shows up. Hopefully we can work hard this week to get a much more action packed offensive gameplan to get our mojo back on offense. Prefer it to be the Bengals due to their horrendous playoff history but we got swept by em this season. If its the steelers I'm not sure how we will be able to stop Big Ben, Leveon Bell and the arsenal of talented receivers they got on offense. Time for Flacco to go back in $120M dollar mode.

Would it be inappropriate if we hoped and prayed for lots of injuries in tonights game ?

Just cause we may get the bengals 1st doesn't mean we will not see the stillers.

However, upsetting the stillers opening round in da burgh would feel great!

which is the lesser of 22 evils;

cincy- they have the better defense and joe has a rough time with them (even though we should have beat them twice)

pitts- this offense of theirs is really on a roll, and with so much history of them knocking us out the playoffs,I would love some payback.

who ever we play,, game plan has to be flawless,no slow starts no ugly penalties.  COACHES COACH and PLAYERS PLAY.

it really looks like it is going to be pitt,,,,,

Both have their pluses and minuses.

I don't think anyone expects us to go very far.  So because of this, bring on the Steelers.  Give us a chance of knocking them out of the playoffs in Pittsburgh.  This would be the next sweetest thing to winning a SB.

I want no part of the Steelers! They seem to get better and better as the season or post-season goes on and the Ravens have NEVER bounced them out of the playoffs! And, with the present "mindset" that the Ravens offense has of coming out in games; off, flat and lethargic; we can't afford to have that...in Pittsburg....on the...BIG STAGE in a playoff game! And the Bengals, have dropped us twice and would be licking their chops for us at their house as well. Ugh! But, give me the Bengals!

Much rather the Steelera. We were blown out but started the game with a td. Can't say that about any of the Bengals games and that defense ALWAYS gives our offense problems in their house. I'd also like to get knocking them out the playoffs off the checklist as well.

So:

@ Pit would be 8:15 Saturday Night

@ Cin would be 1 pm Sunday.

I'd much prefer the Sunday time. Just adds to me wanting the Bengals. (Playoff Dalton.)

Agreed. For some reason I love the 1 o'clock time slot in the playoffs. We've won every time we've gotten it too.

Who we play doesn't really matter to me. What concerns me the most is Kubiaks game plan, or lack of. Why have they abandoned the no huddle, fast paced offense? Why does he stay with his run first offense, and not deviate from the plan until we are so far behind that he has no choice but to pass the ball, There is no question that the Ravens are going to see a blitz heavy defense, no matter who they play, What will he do to counter the blitz with his makeshift offensive line. As far as I am concerned, the mark of a good coordinator is a guy that protects his QB, and at the same time, devise a plan that can get your team off to an early lead. Makes no difference who they play, all that counts is if the coaches can break from the predictable.

The only reason I'd want to avoid the Steelers is because of potential injuries. The winner of that game would be banged up and sore traveling to either NE or Denver. But that Steelers' offense might be clicking now, but it wasn't too long ago that their fans wanted to run Todd Haley out of town. They'll sputter again as even the greatest offenses do (and they're obviously not that), and I'd love for the Ravens to deliver that reality.

Revenge is sweet.

Long as Chris Collinsworth and that same referee crew @ last game isnt there.   This is going to be a sweet game.

Chris will most certainly be there. More reason to root for the Bengals.

Le'von Bell knee hit ,,,,

Belle is injured, which factors into tonight's game as well as potentially facing them

Don't get your hopes up.  Sounds like a hyper-extended knee.  If so, he'll probably be good to go next week.

Both are bad matchups.

I think our offense would play better against Pitt. But I think I'd rather see if Dalton could beat us 4x in a row. Maybe Dalton has something in him that doesn't let him perform well come playoff time.

Either way we'll be facing a top 5 WR next week.....with our secondary So that in itself is scary.

I've literally flipped flopped several times in the last couple hours and I'm still not sure.

Do we want a team we can potentially defend better in Cincy or a team we could potentially hurt offensively in Pittsburgh.

You know what, after thinking it over...it really doesn't matter which team we'd have to play because the Ravens would have the opportunity to bounce either one of them out of the playoffs!  We just need BOTH sides of the ball to show up together as ONE the ENTIRE game for the win!

GO RAVENS!!

Ravens....Steelers... Yay.

Yep!  No excuses now!  Now, it's a matter of how bad do the Ravens really want it?  Cause to get it...they have to go through our nemesis...the Pittsburg Steelers...a team that the Ravens have NEVER beaten in the playoffs....

UNTIL NOW!

Go Ravens!

Any chance James Harrison retires before next week's game? If I had to pick ONE Steeler to not play next week, it'd be him. Not Roethlisberger. Not Brown. Not Bell.

That guy has absolutely owned Joe Flacco throughout the years.
