Listen up. There's a huge difference between being a pessimist and a realist. I love my team. I'm proud of my team. We did it through major adversity.

That said, we've played horribly lately against majorly inferior opponents.

I'm done. The wine is poured in a hand painted ravens glass. It gets busted out once a year. I'm proud. But I'm also realistic. Go ravens.

The fact we are in the playoffs with all of the injuries is a major accomplishment .

Most teams would have folded like babies . We didn't .

I don't expect much due to our injury losses but the way I see it we have nothing to lose .

I haven't seen anybody compare the two this year that I can remember so maybe that is over?

I like our guys...  I watch some of these other games, and wish we had some of these other players then reality sets in.

You are welcome.  It felt good to see my team knock out the freaking Chargers lol.  Since I knew the Ravens and Texans both losing to Cleveland and Jacksonville was nearly impossible (though it looked possible for a minute there).  Now go whoop Pittsburgh, Denver, or New England.  Please.

I'm not exactly the brain surgeon or the rocket scientist on this blog but I think Steelers Prophet is the troll, Mack! It's not Bmoreazfan. I might not agree with him but I'll defend his right to express his opinion. AND, ya know how I feel about trolls. Their opinion doesn't count. BTW, troll, I don't

have a preference who we play in the 1st round. If it's the Spittsburgh Squeelers, we win or if it's

the Bungles in the jungle, we win so what difference does it make?

Okay, Flacco did well in the 4th quarter. Like the Flacco of old that we all know and love. But anyone who was saying that  Shaw was playing better for the 1st 3 quarters...was right. Same as those that were stunned when comparing Joe to Keenum. Anyone who can not admit that Joe played poorly (and I am being generous) for those 7 quarters needs to get their purple shades adjusted. Fortunately the regular season is made of more than 7 quarters and Joe was at least good and often great for most of the others. Still, a fan can be mystified by the extremely poor performance of the entire offense for those quarters and hope not to see anything like that again.

 

Luckily, with the playoffs, we sweep the regular season under the carpet and start refreshed. At this point, everyone will be 0-0 and anything can happen.

Shaw did not play better for the first three (Joe definitely tore him up in the second half as a whole), but Shaw literally did three things 1. Dump it off to the running back 2. Quick swing pass for a wide receiver screen or 3. Wide open seam pass to the tight end off of the PA. Just nothing impressive about what he did. He didn't push the ball down field, take risks, or make any impressive throws. They were all extremely high completion throws designed for the receivers to get YAC
