Ravens Celebration Thread!

351 posts in this topic

I would love to beat Pittsburgh so, so badly... or Cincinnati. Maybe the fact we've never been one-and-done will help? I have no clue, but I really, really hope we can build off that 4th quarter and be the team I know we can be.

EDIT: Also, I said it before, and I can say we deserve to officially call this season a success for getting back to the playoffs, no matter what happens from here. Even though it was just 2 games difference, a HUGE step up from last year overall. Go Ravens!

Way too slow of a start. But he'll of a wake up. Thank the defense for carrying us the last couple of weeks

Defense has been coming along the last couple weeks. Webb is looking way better, Melvin is doing pretty good. Elam is playing better when in his natural position.

Offense started slow but got into a rhythm and finished strong.

Very nice job!

I have witnessed a TON of negativity from Baltimore Ravens fans over the last few weeks. Some of it has made me sick to my stomach. And look where the team is today. Let's see:

-18 players put on IR. Including 5 CB's
- No Jimmy Smith
- No Dennis Pitta...
-Haloti Ngata suspended the last 4 games

Not to mention the whole Ray Rice thing. With all of that, ALL OF THAT, the Ravens win 10 games and are back in the playoffs again; making it 6 out of 7 years John Harbaugh and Joe Flacco have been on the team. And all I've heard is how bad and crappy both of them are. Well, I guess you could be a Charger fan right now, right?

I'm proud of this team.  And I'm proud to be a Ravens fan and PSL holder.

This team has overcome so much this season! Ray Rice fiasco, adjusting to a new offense, some heartbreaking losses, countless injuries to an already weak secondary, losing Pitta, Ngata's suspension.....

I'm proud of the spirit they have..... 1 play determined the outcome in both Bengals games so we could've been 12-4 which is just really crazy to think about.

If the 2012 season taught me anything, it's that anything could happen in the playoffs. Our offense could catch fire.... They've showed the flashes this year. Defense needs to bend but not break.

Congratulations Guys, AFC North dominance is unquestioned now.

here's a question, who do you prefer next week bengals or steelers?

Still a chance we end up playing the Broncos, which would mean them stumbling into the playoffs after a loss to the Raiders. I'll take that.

Exactly! I boycotted the game thread today because I didn't want to hear all the negativity.

WTG Ravens! Way to overcome!

They both have their pluses and minuses.  I could go either way.

I like the possibility of beating the Steelers in the playoffs.  Even though it would be extremely tough.

Here's to making the playoffs. Anything can happen, and even if we lose our first game, I believe it is a huge accomplishment that we made the playoffs. Wasn't easy or pretty, but we did it.

Yep! I don't care if we lose either. A win is just a bonus!

Steelers! Giving Dalton his first playoff victory will give me a stroke (not really lol).

With all of the injuries, no tackles ,no secondary no Ngata, Running backs hurt ,this is a major accomplishment

to get in.  Thanks Houston for the 4 sacks on Rivers today. I hate Rivers.

A lot of people in the game thread were hating on Joe and saying Shaw was playing better and questioned where clutch Flacco was, but come the fourth quarter, who showed up? For what it's worth, the Ravens had the best fourth quarter offense in years NFL, largely due to Flacco

Also, I know Arians and Garrett pretty much have a head-to-head battle for Coach of the Year, but John Harbaugh deserves some major credit considering what the team has gone through, beginning with the numerous arrests before the season. Pretty much unprecedented tribulation, and yet, 10-6, playoffs.

Had a 158+ rating in the 4th today.

And how about Torrey Smith stepping up! You know he didn't want this to be his last game for us. At least not without getting the franchise record first.

Same here, the best decision I made all season.

Congrats to the Ravens and fans. Doing it like this is freaking hard but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Let's check now what are these other teams really made of!
