Week 17 Discussion (Other Teams)

I wouldn't want to bet against Peyton's arm after a week of rest.

Eh that defense they have is garbage though, also he's been passing way too much this season and has had some of his worst reg season performances in his career. I give cincy and the colts no chance of getting far this post season though.

Interestingly enough, the broncos despite being the second seed look really vulnerable even in denver this season. They could los ein the divisional.

I don't really like that talk going around. Anderson took advantage of teams defending Broncos pass game. It's hard to keep tabs on that O. Then again, Bengals managed to beat them. In Cincy but still...

The rams made them look pretty bad too offensively which is what they are best at.

Hmmm. Early forecast shows a mix of rain and snow showers in Pittsburgh next week. Could make things more interesting. I saw someone say the steelers will be heavily favored, but I doubt it. They will be a small favorite and the game picks will probably be split. Nothing like the Denver game. Bell being out or limited definitely hurts them. Bet they wish they'd kept blunt now.

Now didn't we limit Bell in the running game? I know he's dangerous in the passing game, but still. I'm worried about the secondary and how will they redeem themselves after the performance they had the last time they were in Heinz.

Steelers aren't scary, was more concerned about Cincy.

Steelers are fortunate the Bengals kept turning the ball over.

We kinda did but it's not a matter of stopping Bell's run. He is as, if not more, dangerous on check downs/screens, so you have to figure out a way of stopping Bell, period. Today's injury might be significant with a short week. I still hate seeing players get hurt badly though. Even if they are the best Steelers' player.

Ben was dodgy today with some viral infection and will be lot better on Saturday, too so we'll have our hands full but it is going to be much closer game than both regular season matchups.

My prediction - O line will win it one way or the other. Looked like we made some adjustments in second half today, so I'm hopeful.

LOLZ Suh is suspended for next weeks playoff game

Deserves it - that second step on Rodgers' ankle was deliberate.  You can't tell me he didn't notice the first time that what he was stepping on wasn't turf - it actually looks like the first time was accidental with just the back of his heel on Rodger's cleat/sock, and the second time he planted his other leg to make sure he wouldn't lose his balance, then stepped back onto Rodgers's ankle.
