Dumervil, Mosley, and Yanda named to Pro Bowl

Not just that, but this provides what I assume will be a glimpse to the DROY award, between Donald and Mosley. It'll certainly be interesting to see who wins it between those two.

theres more to kicking FGs than hitting the long one, otherwise the polish cannon would have made it every year. Why up in arms about them saying other kickers played better than Tucker this year? lets be real here, Tuck missed 5 this year and all 5 were not 60+, Gostkowski missed 2 and Vinaieri didn't miss any, they played better this year and deserved to go over Tuck

Ok truth, but All of his misses were from 50 + a pair of 54's and a 56 I believe were among them, so yeah when he makes more from 50 than he misses (no chip shot) I am not going to chastise him when the others did not even attempt anything longer than 53. He is the better kicker than those two and I don't think it is close.

Remember that there are only 2 spots for kickers though. There are a lot of quality ones all around the league. There's no question that Tucker is in the top tier but it's going to be hard when there are so many other quality kickers.

And two of them are household names for the Colts and Patriots respectively. ^_^

ILB position was a pretty tough crowd, and to have CJ be in it is more rewarding then anything.

How many rookie player are in the probowl?  Amazing achievement by Mosley and well deserved.

He'll grab the DROY and a Pro bowl.   I knew from the get go this guy was going to be an amazing player.

More of that probowl in the future.

and ofc, gz to Doom and Yanda!

KO not being on it is so dumb. He was a beast. You could make a decent case for Suggs. Not that surprised that Wagner didn't make it. They pick all LT's, and for good reason.

As for other teams... I think OBJ should have made it... over hilton would made sense. I don't think Romo, Jahri Evans, Iupati or Haden should have made it. Desmond Trufant is better than Haden

Trufant is not better than Haden.  Come on man!

Also Hilton had a amazing year.  Give him some props.

True.  Both Adam and Gostkowski had a great year, and they got the name to boost.  Many of those kicks had game winning consequences.  Can't beat that tbh.

Only three: Zach Martin and Aaron Donald are the others.

Mosley is no lock for DROY, it's between him and Donald for sure.

Yeah Donald was a beast, but I feel like Mosley done a lot of everything on the field than Donald.

Remember hearing that Ozzie hadn't drafted a Pro Bowler since that guy who used to wear #27. Glad that streak is over. Congrats to all.

Hope Forsett gets to go.

Forsett needs his motor back  However, the O line leads him off the line

Mosley -86 tackles , 3 sacks , 1 FF, 2 INT

Donald - 39 tackles, 8 sacks, 1 FF  - Plays on a Dline with Chris Long (1st round), Robert Quinn (1st round), and Michael Brockers (1st round)

Should not be a question that Mosley should win it hands down but I was suprised that KO and Wagner didn't make the pro-bowl, so I don't really know anymore.

KO got snubbed for sure and a few others around the league. Congrats to Yanda, CJ, and Doom! They've all had great seasons, for sure.

Romo is deserved I guess, though I have no idea how Rivers didn't make it. Pro Bowl is a joke.

I see it with Rivers as well   He is personally responsible for two come from behind wins

OBJ is the biggest snub

Yeah he is. I think Suggs was a pretty big snub too, especially considering Tamba Hali made it over him.

He didn't come back until after the voting started, and I believe he's a reserve so his chances of going are pretty good anyway.

he averages something like 7 catches 110 yards a game with a pretty average team. Hes also a highlight reel which you'd think would make him more popular.

I knew he'd be good, gabe knew he'd be great, but I don't think anyone thought he'd have this big an impact from the get go.

If you're going to compare Donald's supporting cast, then compare Mosley's as well

He plays in the best LB group in the league behind brandon williams and haloti ngata so yea that's not an argument to use in Mosley's favor

Haden got destroyed in multiple games this year he is completely overrated. and Im not saying that as a Ravens fan im saying that as a person that watches football.

Again , being non-biased ,  which position is harder to transition as a rookie, ILB or D-line? ILB Easily.

C.J had a better year at a harder position  . I think the choice is easy.

When it comes to Wagner being snubbed, people don't vote for right tackles.

I don't think Mosley has much of an advantage when it comes to supporting cast. The Rams have a really good defense with their d-line being one of the best in the league. Donald is surrounded by guys who command attention, often letting him have one on one matchups with the guard. They're both lucky in that regard.

Many have been comparing him to Ray Lewis since he arrived.  With so much pressure to be Ray's heir, that's a lot to live up to.  However, making the Pro Bowl is something Lewis didn't do. Furthermore, he's out played his rookie season too tallying greater stats.  While it doesn't mean that it compares to Ray's 17 seasons, its a nice first season to build on.
