Well I hope the Chiefs' players want to beat SD as much as their fans!

They did give up 350 rushing yards to a 49ers team that hasn't been able to run all year and now face Charles and even Davis.

Playoff hopes looking bleak with the way the Bengals are playing

As it should be..... If you're not going to make it in on your own merits than perhaps, you shouldn't be in it at all.  Waiting on some other team to lose so you can get in is not the idea situation or the Ravens way.  You want in then play your way in as the Patriots, Seahawks, Colts and Steelers did and stop waiting for a miracle.

Was kind of thinking the same thing... Steelers, Chargers, Bengals, and even Texans taking care of business. Hard to hate them for it

Wait just saw Colts... lol. Probably not them.

Does anyone think that a team that hasn't thrown a touchdown to a wide receiver all year is going to beat the chargers? Highly unlikely. The chargers are so confident right now after that big come back.

Agreed. I've pretty much come to terms with it by now that we're out of the playoffs; quite frankly, we don't deserve it after yesterday's performance.

We win, KC wins, we're in.

And while KC hasn't had a TD to a WR all year, they'll be in arrowhead. They can do it.

And if not? I'll take a 10-6 season. Get healthy, and come back strong next year.

And fans do not determine if we deserve the playoffs. If they win and get in, they deserve it. If they lose, they don't deserve it. If they win and don't get in, they don't deserve it. If you get in, you deserve it. Period.

We deserve it just as much if not more than whoever takes that sorry NFCS division.

KC has pulled it off before.

I'll wait for my sorrow until after that game is done - but it really was a hit in the gut the Broncos losing tonight.

To be fair, they've already beaten the Chargers.

But I don't see them doing it again.

It wasn't for me!  The Ravens brought this mess on themselves by not taking care of their own business and seizing the opportunity when it was in front of them and theirs for the taking!

But I generally do not like ANY of the teams that go deep into the playoffs so when we are done it usually means I am done with football.

And if KC doesn't pull it off those blasted Steelers better be one and done. I have to live with one of those fans!

I keep watching regardless of who is in the playoffs.  And I have quite a few friends that are diehard Steelers fans that I have to face and have heard from already about how the Ravens seemingly choke down the stretch these past 2 seasons.  It's sickening but I can't argue with them at the moment.

Yea our season is over bunch of choke artists on our team including the coaching staff

It's sad, we used to gave a rep for winning these critical games. Those days are gone.

It's when teams like the Patriots & the Broncos play each other. Can't stand to see either of them win so I don't watch.

If the Panthers win their division, I'll probably root for the underdog as long as I can.

Yup.. This exactly

That's why I'm not even upset about it as a whole... Ravens brought this on themselves when they lost twice to cincy.. Lost to San Diego etc

I guess the story of this season is that this team is not as good as we thought they were. Road struggles against good teams has been the story of the season. Indy, Houston, Cincinatti, Pittsburgh. If the Ravens were as good as we thought, they would've beaten Cinci once, and Houston, maybe steal one against Indy. Truth is, this team is outmatched against good teams. Including a win against San Diego, at home, with a ten point lead...late...

If San Diego does indeed win against K.C, then I guess F.O has a lot to think about when it comes to adjustments. Honestly, there's not much to fix, it's hard to see where we need to improve or what to add.

Its hard to argue with what you've said but I will anyway. Our offense was anemic yesterday but that only tells half of the story. Take the punt that Sam Koch dropped inside Houston's 5 yard line that

Jeremy Miles didn't even look for. If he had just turned around, he could have downed the ball at the one yard line. It would have been a simple over the shoulder catch. Instead, it was a touchback.

Look at the play when Arian Foster ran through a hole as big as a Bulldog Mack truck, avoided being

tackled by Darryl Smith and then led two of our D-backs up the field for a 35 yard run. If it hadn't been so pitiful, it would have been hilarious. Right now, our whole team is inept and that includes

the coaching staff. We simply had no answer for JJ Watt and we were outcoached. I had to laugh when

Coach Harbaugh singled that we were going for two on the 2nd TD. Had we kicked the extra point, we

would have been down by 11, not 12. When we failed to convert the 2 pt. conversion, that

automatically made it a 3 score deficit to overcome. C'mon man! Yes, it is a moot point 'cause

Tucker's on-side kick attempt backfired but it takes the wind out of your players' sails. Basically, we failed to compete yesterday and that is the most bothersome issue we face. It wasn't that we lost as much as it is the way we lost. The entire team laid an egg. How many sacks did we get and who got them?

Otherwise, I agree with some of what you said but to say our offense failed against the Chargers is

just unfounded. When an offense posts 33 points, the team should be victorious. We did. Our defense

couldn't stop Philip Rivers.

Yeah, fair points. i'm just getting frustrated with the team not showing up. When did we last have a good win over a good team? I can't recall one. We've lost to virtually every team in the Playoffs or the hunt, barring NFC South teams.

We were run heavy the entire first half. RUN got us into that hole. If we had not been so predictable, perhaps, just a maybe mind you, the offense could have gotten something going. Not arguing the entire offense was inept, they were. Just saying you can't run on 99% of first downs, 88% of 2nd downs and expect to pick up all the 3rd and longs and get your offense into a rhythm.

Play calling was poor.

Chargers loss is all on the defense period. Couldn't stop the Chargers at all. Think they had one punt the entire game. No pressure at all on Rivers. Offense put up 33 pts - you should not lose a game where you post 33 pts, especially at home. They needed a TD to win, not a FG. If your defense can't be relied upon to provide one stop when it is needed at the end of the game, sorry, that is purely a defensive fail.

Jacksonville gave all the AFCN fits. Guess the entire division sucks.

Pitt lost to Tampa. Cincy almost did and only tied the Panthers.

True, but even so, our wide receivers go missing against half the teams we play. Torrey Smith needs to develop his game, he's knocked around too easily, and needs to catch more passes over the middle.

Honestly speaking, we don't have the offensive players or secondary to contend in the post season. As much as I love the team, nothing this year would lead me to believe otherwise.

Agreed, just get the win and let the fates sort themselves out.

Press coverage is the kiss of death to our receivers . If you have good corners like the Texans that can press, we can't get open

I love the amount of fair weather fans on this board. Doom and gloom. Doom and gloom. Steve Smith Sr. was right.

Thats the name of the Ravens secondary "The Legion of Gloom".

we just lost to a hold snapper/4th string QB, so why would y'all think we can win this game.....?

That QB didn't beat us. Their defense did.

Remember that we beat Ben earlier this season...
