Side Note: Only two players are listed as "out" for the Browns.  Jordan Cameron, their TE and Phil Taylor, their DE.  We have a platoon of players in that dismal position.  However, we have the motivation to Earn this win in our House.

Have people noticed how well Jeromy Miles has played? Seriously, sounds like a keeper.

Yeah.  He should be in our future.  At least he didn't get posterized yet.  One of our own in here said our secondary reminds him of a keystone cop comedy. I can say that happened quite a bit even in our wins

As sad as it is to say, Im already mentally prepared for the Raven's to miss the playoffs this year.

Well, of course I hope that the Ravens get in.  But, I like what Garret Downing said yesterday on Ravens Unscripted in reference to the Ravens chances to make the playoffs which is based upon the Ravens beating the Browns and the Chiefs beating the Chargers....

"I just feel like, lately, nothing has been going the Ravens way!  I watched that Chargers game last week and I said, "You know what?  They are down 21 points to the 49ers"...then....they come all the way back and win that game!  Then the Ravens.  Everybody knows what happened to them against the Texans on Sunday.  Then the Broncos, and I'm like, "Ok!  The Broncos on Monday Night Football, Peyton Manning, he'll beat the Bengals and meh, they fall apart in the 4th Qrtr.  I just feel like nothing is going their way."

On the flipside of that, Ryan Mink mentioned....

"I think the Chiefs in Arrowhead!  Like I said earlier, that is a tough game to go into for any team!  Chiefs in Arrowhead...they can win!"

Chargers have like the worst ranked run defense, KC among the best rushing teams. Philip Rivers is being held together with duct tape and kra gl e (Lego's movie anyone?). And while hes led comebacks the past couple weeks, the KC defense can really put the pressure on especially at home.

Plus the Chargers have no run game, even more so with Matthews out, which means their offense will become one-dimensional, that crowd will be able to stay loud on long 3rd downs, and those backers can just go hunt.

--

Trust me, I hate just as much as anyone that we yet again failed to take care of business when the playoffs were practically gift wrapped to us; but it's far from over ladies and gentlemen. I really like KC to beat San Diego in this spot, so if we take care of business like we should we could be punching that 6th ticket to the dance.

What the hell proof is there that we will even beat the Browns? Their defense isn't bad and this offense has had bad starts since the Dolphins game. Since then the team has managed 17 total points in the first half of those 3 games. That's not going to get it done.

I've been wanting Jeromy Miles to be getting the starting nod at free safety for awhile now, instead of Darian Stewart. Miles, right now, reminds me of James Ihedigbo in the Super Bowl year, when Diggs was playing behind Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard.

Hopefully, since both Miles and Stewart are unrestricted free agents in 2015, it's Miles that the Ravens re-sign. I would still like for Will Hill and Terrence Brooks to be the starting safeties, next season; but, Miles would provide great depth and he gets the job done on special teams.

Brooks is going to probably start on IR I would imagine but yeah adios Stewart.

Yes, certainty can fill the void if Elam keeps sucking.

Nothing has been going the Ravens way, but it's their fault too. There's four losses that I could look back at that really messed us up: both losses to the Bengals, the Chargers, and the Texans (being late in the season).

There isn't any proof. At this point, it's just hope.

I think they call it "self-inflicted wounds". We should have clinched a playoff spot already. Instead, we'll likely be on the outside looking in again and we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves. Oh yeh, and thanks Haloti for doing a Chris Davis! This year really reminds me of the movie "Dumb and Dumber". But then again, "stupid is as stupid does."

"Memories....light the corners of my mind...." But in case yours are dark...a blast from the past.

At this point in the season we have no reason to believe our defense can stop any other team in the NFL correct ? Our offense has been very sketchy and unreliable through out the season and the only steady play has been from the Special Teams. So how confident are you that we do not go one and done in the Play Offs and why

So i guess we are all hyped with today's game and the fact that sits in front of us will not even be discussed because it is everyone but our "Franchise" quarterback. I guess caldwell, the O'line and what ever else is to blame for many over thrown balls, fumbles and turn overs. Of course it is. Am glad we are all so naive to think that we will be a Play off contender even at one and done.

The only game we may win is of course in Cincy but they have come on strong and our D has gotten worse since we last met. The entire NFL knows how to beat us now which is (just give flacco a chance to screw up) and they have a shot or run or pass the ball. In any case we will find a way to lose in crunch time to even the worst QB's. Almost starting to think Boller could beat us, OK that was stretching it.. LOL.

Maybe Cincy but we can't stop a flag football team right now. We let two rookies shred us up. Imagine what one of the league's best WRs will do.

We'll go 10-6 and be one and done in the playoffs. Last year was the year

I really want him to get better, but unfortunately he has regressed big time. Unless our defense plays lights out, there's very little chance we can win the SB. And tbh, after 3 playoff appearance...being good and getting into playoff isnt our goal anymore. We need to win the SB. I don't see us winning one with Flacco playing like the way his playing.

if I recall...that was a pretty good year. :)

We weren't relying on other teams

We sealed our fate with the Giants win.

I just want a good showing from the boys so go out with. I could care less if we lose , because it was a good season and because of injuries we might not be a playoff team , I just want a good enjoyable game of football to hold me over next season.

Ah a person of reasonable means, accepting what is here and not skewed in sarcasm.  However, I hate to quit and we should attain a goal of 10 wins.

http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=12080695. Alex Smith is out against Chargers

. Chase Daniels is in. Gentlemen and ladies our season is over.

Our playoff percentages  have deteriorated like sugar in hot coffee but our season is NOT over.  We still have our last home game against a division rival and hungry die hard fans. Who knows... Chase Daniels could lead his team to a win. There are 21 other players and two other team units.

Looking forward to this weekend. This has been one of strangest seasons ever. I've just got the feeling that this Sunday will be one of the strangest NFL end-of-season ever. I predicted a 12-4 season for us before the season began. I wonder what this weekend would look like if we didn't get 2 games stolen this year...hummmm. No excuses - just wondering. That being said, we're still in it until we're not anymore. That can't be said for over-half of the league. So, I'm good.

Can't wait for Sunday.

Go Ravens! Get 10!

It just makes you appreciate our Ravens team more......

Would not shock me in the least to see SOME of our fans saying the exact same thing even with our current record.

I can see Flacco throwing for more than 14pts, but just barely....

Honestly will be completely surprised right now if the offense scores 2+ actual TD's
