I just dont see KC beating SD next week eithier. Sucks it came down to this.

SD can win next week and we still get in. This Denver/Cincy game is the most important one.

My guess is we win the game in typical, ugly fashion, but the Chargers beat the Chiefs to beat us to the playoffs. Probably for the best, anyway.

I keep reading if SD wins we are out.

The SD/KC game will have little effect on us actually. We just need Denver to handle Cincy today/now.

From messing with the Playoff Machine, we would have tie breaker in a 3 team tie over Pitt and SD.

Edit - This is with Denver winning tomorrow and SD still winning next week. This is all assuming this thing is working properly.

Depends. We only have two real scenarios.

1. We win + KC wins

2. We win + CIN loses to DEN/PIT

If Cincy wins tomorrow things will look veeeeery dire. I wouldn't count out the Chiefs beating the Chargers though. They almost did it last year even when they weren't trying. Unfortunately if we win, they'll pretty much have nothing to play for.

Wait...really? How?

Even if Cincy wins tomorrow, we'd need them to beat Pitt next week as well. But Denver winning is our best case scenario.

If SD wins and the Bengals/Steelers split next week, we're out. If SD wins and Buffalo sweeps two games, we're out. Win and KC wins, and we're in pretty much.

So if Denver wins tomorrow , and we win next week we are in?

Its not just a 2 game thing and we're in, but best case for us is Denver wins tomorrow. But the poster is correct above. Buff cannot win out.

If DEN wins we get in with:

1. BAL win + KC win

2. BAL win + PIT win

3. BAL win + CIN win + KC win

If CIN wins we get in with:

1. BAL win + KC win

2. BAL win + CIN win

Is this correct? And both CIN/PIT will have something to play for regardless of the result of tomorrow's game because the winner will take the division.

The Ravens have to pull themselves together fast. Last year Sizzle (I think) admitted that the stinker against the Patriots stuck with them and lead, in part, to a bad game against the Bengals.

We need help this time, though.

And that's what I can't stand B cause nearly every time help is needed from another team...they rarely give it!  The Ravens missed the opportunity to control their own destiny today by losing to the Texans.  Smh!  They are not really playoff material to me.

More unfortunately, we don't look like a playoff team anyways.

Agreed, but I like us better now than this time last year.

I am going to the Browns game ( 90% for sure )

Ravens are 24 / 3 on games I attend so I am liking our odds next week.

The Ravens actually got the help they needed last year. Blew it anyway.

Which in my opinion was a good thing.  As you will recall Joe was hurt.  Our O-line was in worst condition than our secondary is right now.  I feel better about the Ravens right now as opposed to this time last year.

Last year I just wanted the season to end for Joes sake.

Manuel left injured with a hamstring injury this week and never returned.  So, not sure what QB will start for them.

After today's game, I don't think it matters one bit who's under center for the Browns.

Wait, we played the Patriots last year? I thought it was a weird blip in the schedule that we only had 15 games last season, but we were due to play them at home so I'm pretty sure I would have remembered.

If memory serves, the division winners get picked first, so it'd be between us and Pittsburgh if we tied. Does the machine take that into account, or would the Bungles win the division next week with a win?

We will win this one.  Just as long as Flacco doesn't play like a absolute Waste products like he has vs texans.

After that, we need to look on other teams and hope things falls on our favor.
