WE need to sign a FA CB....Flowers and Cromartie were right there in front of our face and we didn't pull the trigger. Grab a WR, hell grab two. Some teams have two number 1's we have 2 number 2's. We're doing it wrong. For god sakes CUT Pierce. He's brought NOTHING to this team this year.....NOTHING..

The one thing I will say though, is leaving James Hurst 1-on-1 with JJ Watt is simply asinine.

I simply don't understand. I mean, many things could be said about what happened, but just why? I simply cannot understand. At this point, I do believe it would be better to miss the playoffs; I do not wish to be embarrassed again. We completely deserved the loss, we are fortunate we were not blown out by more points, and we do not deserve to make the playoffs. It's time to start thinking about next year, and hopefully major improvements will come.

Also, we have some of the worst fans in all of the NFL.   That game thread was absolutely horrible.

You obviously haven't seen message boards from other teams.  I've seen both Colts and Broncos fans calling for Luck/Manning to be benched during a loss, so yeah...hold that thought of yours

No they don't. As too many people on here are WAY too optimistic about this team moving forward. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt moving forward IF they were torched in the secondary, BUT the offense HAS NO EXCUSE for their no show today and not taking the lead most of the year.

Oh and special thanks to Ozzie for not taking a WR in a draft that EVERYONE said had amazing receiving talent before round 7. Really, thanks.

we need multiple playmakers. parker/white/strong,fa wr, fa te, and perhaps draft a rb/te early.  i think we let jones, smith sr, daniels, torrey go .  guys are either getting old or scrubs(i.e torrey).

*Jacoby gets paid too much for his little payoff.

*Hurst should of had someone back there with him!

*Deepest draft for WR and we get none.

2 years in a row we control our own destiny, 2 years in a row we blow it. Have to start questioning this team's toughness.

 

Flacco was godawful. Can someone give me his final stat line? I don't even want to go on ESPN/NFL.com right now, I'm blacking out non-local media for the next week, because he'll be hearing it and for good reason.

 

Torrey Smith might have been the single worst player on the field. Responsible for Flacco's 3rd INT and just completely gave up on a route that likely ends in a TD. How he has 10 TDs I don't know. I do not want him back next year unless he agrees to a deal worth the price of a Happy Meal.

 

SSS talks a big game but no shows in a big spot once again.

 

The OL got completely dominated. And whose bright idea was it to put Hurst on Watt with no help? Idiocy.

 

Kubiak was just completely outcoached. Crennel ate his lunch.

 

It's a huge shame because the defensive effort was admirable. We got field goal-ed to death despite the 3 turnovers.

 

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?! I just hope we win another game. At this point I'd rather not see this team walk into Pittsburgh (who clinched today) and get destroyed.

 

So disgusted with this effort.

Been saying that for yrs, worst h.c. in challenges in history. I am not and havnt been a fan of harbs. He has,had too many people in the doghouse that could help this team. But his pride is too big for that even if it cost us games.

That thread was after the SD game. In no way was that the offense's fault.

 

The offense was terrible today but it's funny how some are using this game as an excuse to pretend they've been terrible all year.

Everyone knew this game was about Watt and we had no answer. I expected more from the offense, especially since Kubiak should know those defenders in and out, most of them were there when he was. Instead, it looked like he left a playbook in Houston and we got crushed.

 

Probably did. Ravens offense had zero answers all day. I've never seen them get dominated so badly in the Flacco era.

Look, sometimes you just have to appreciate what you could. For the Ravens to finish with 9 (or potentially 10) wins, this season, after all these injuries and, more importantly, the Ray Rice fiasco, is still quite impressive. Sure, the playoffs seem like a stretch, at this point; but, wouldn't a better pick in the 2015 NFL Draft be better than just going to the playoffs and, at best, getting a single win?

Not really no.  I want a perennial playoff team.

I'm done. team is not ready for prime time yet. ozzie will continue retooling the team. For all we know, this year can be the long-awaited "weapons" draft. Cause god knows we need more home grown talent there.  i can see us adding free agents in the secondary, but mostly retaining guys like will hill.
