Week 16 - Baltimore Ravens (9-5) at Houston Texans (7-7)

why can't our corners attack the ball like that? there guy SPRINTED up to torrey just to knock the ball away.

The Ravens corners are only playing professional football because of a ridiculous number of injuries. That's probably not the case for the Texans dbs.

This will be a team loss even though the offense his having the worst of it.

I don't think so. It's just not a flacco loss which is what you'd like considering the receivers & o line were garbage today.

this is what happens when you don't get an actual good receiver and patch your offense with aging FAs, UDFAs, 6th and 7th rounders.

Plus, Torrey is not a 2nd round talent.

The OL is the greater weakness today.

I legitimately think the Texans defense knows all about Kubiak's tendencies. The only explanation.

If that's the care shame on Kubiak for being so predictable.

I feel like if that had been Marlon brown there it's a first down because he attaCks the ball in the air more than Torrey.

they are both not starting wide receivers. who cares? I for one think webb can still be a starter and jimmy is coming back. melvin can be decent depth as can jackson. i think we still draft a cb early  but in the 1st round i think WR is strongly in play.

Im blaming the secondary for the loss games to the Bengals....that was on them.

You mean one game where the offense slept for the first half and the other where they essentially did the same thing?  You realize, when you only score 6-7 points or none at all, you will usually lose that game right?

Flacco hasn't thrown for 4000 yards in any season, and that trend looks like it will continue for this season. I don't understand that when all the rules actually are in favor of the offense.

I'm so angry that 4th down play was called to Torrey. He's just not physical enough for that. Should have been Brown or Aiken. They'll fight.

The OL is the greater weakness today.

Torrey has a TD is he doesn't give up on his route in the middle of the 3rd.

Cramp my butt.

Btw not using campanaro ...kinda stupid harbs.

Receivers can't get separation, at all.

O-line has been on it's heels all day, putting Joe on his heels all day.

No run game to rely on to help these receivers with play-action.

Not enough receivers/tight ends to go spread, which is what you need to have success with a pass heavy offense, if play-action is not an option.

It starts with these receivers.

If they can't get it done, then it's game over, no matter what everyone else does (if we can't run the ball a ton).

Hate to be a pessimist but I am throwing in the towel, we look done for the season. Time to move onto something more joyous cause these Ravens games have sapped my positive energy. I don't understand how we can play so badly. Only thing I will root for is for Peyton Manning to win it all so he can go off in the sunset like Ray Lewis.
