Offensive Sputtering

It's come to my attention that the offense has been falling a little bit lately, this is a big issue due to the challenges our team is gonna be facing

This upcoming Texans game is gonna be a coin toss, the Texans would have a great offense if it wasn't for the QB, they have THE best WR duo in the league and have a top 5 RB. If the game turns into a shootout our offense is Gonna have to score ALOT and based on our recent play and the Texans defense has been playing(plus they know exactly how KUBIAK plays) that's gonna be hard. THEN we have to worry about the playoff teams, how are we gonna out score Denver or Indy? Do you guys think we should use the 5 WR set like the one Indianapolis use?

Prior to yesterday, the Ravens were averaging 30+ points since the bye.  I wouldn't necessarily call that a sputtering trend.  

 

As far as the Texans, they have to deal w/ Case Keenum or some dude named Thad as their QB.  They have to get the ball

to Hopkins or Johnson first before they're a threat.

This year, Andre Johnson is... Well... Andre Johnson and Deandre Hopkins is turning into a really good WR.

Texans O-line is no where near as bad as the Jaguars, they probably have the best O-line we're gonna play this season.

So, we got sick of the "offense is the real problem" thread and just started a new one called "sputtering"? I guess offense will always be the black sheep of this forum.

Sputtering?  We haven't scored less than 20 points in a single game since the first week of October.  We've put up 115 points in the 4 weeks since the bye - I think that's just under 29 PPG if I did my math right.

Colts have been winning ugly for a while now. Luck hasn't been playing all that well, either, after a hot start to the season. Nobody seems to knock them for it.
